Kewell injured again

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Hernia, eh? Well that gives him another area of his body to clutch when he limps off. He must be laughing his little head off at Liverpool, paying for his treatment and ops and essentially paying him wages to sit at home every saturday licking his wounds and having a laugh with his mates. But I'm sure we'll all stick by him and give him another season because we don't want to be laughed at by all the Leeds fans, as we realise why he was the "bargain of the cantury". He's got more injuries than a bbq sauce covered skin diver in a piranha tank. He's such a little bitchy cry baby, but like I said, I'm sure we'll all give him a bit longer.

If a player gets injured all the time, I feel bad criticising them because there is probably nothing they can do about it, but the reason why I am so unhappy about this is because Kewell's attitutde has stunk from day one. If he had of performed from the minute he put on the number seven shirt, we would all be sorry for him right now but he doesn't. Darren "Sicknote" Anderton might have spent his career in the treatment room, but at least when he did play, he always did something special or meaningful. Kewell however, is injured all the time and instead of spending his time getting better, he chooses to sue Gary Linekar over nonsense and appear on MTV Cribs UK. Is he gagging for attention or what. It seems his play on the field can't get him attention so he is trying to get it any other way he can think of. Do you think any other footballer would have sued Linekar. Most of them wouldn't have cared but he does. Another oppurtunity to dress up like a :censored: and prance around on TV like he is something special. I cannot believe that he has the number seven shirt. Houllier really left us a number with this one. :veryangry

I'm sick of the same threads being repeated when there is an existing Kewell injury thread...this is an old story ..isn't it?

I think JBG should start a Harry Kewell medical update thread! :p

Supersub - you should check your info before saying a thread is being repeated. This IS NOT THE SAME INJURY. This is a completely NEW injury. Hence the new thread. Check out the article - SKYSPORTS STYLEE

been looking at his liverpool career stats on the bbc website. of his 80 appearances for us, only 31 came last season, 18 in the league.

THAT IS LESS THAN 50% OF OUR LEAGUE MATCHES. :(

lets just hope this operation finally sorts him out once and for all.

I hope so too but I'm not getting my hopes up too much cos I think the lad is taking the p155 out of the red shirt and will be sold next summer when Rafa loses his patience and sells him.

6 weeks aint too bad i guess, i mean when was he due back anyway? im sure when (if?) hes fit rafa will have him on a special fitness plan like last season when he finally started to show somw form. i dont think we wuld have given redknapp as much stick and we dont know whats going on in the guys head but many on here are very harsh on him.

dont forget it hurts him more to get injured more than it hurts us
cut me and i bleed red
