I would hate to see Baros go because he has potential that he seems to just not show, Jerzy, well i would rather see him go, because if he makes but 1 gaff this season, the whole city of Liverpool will be on his back, he is probably better off finding a new club and a fresh start.

Dudek- i could'nt be arsed if he goes or stays. He was a hero in Istanb.....blah blah blah, that's history forget about it.
Baros- Seriously hope he stays Crouch would be the ideal partner for him. He would compliment his abilities well.

Baros to stay. Dudek... :O

Disrespectful to Dudek and a little harsh  ???

Also believing that Coruch will come in and be some kind of Jan Kohl Mark II is naive at best.

Take Xabi Alonso, he didn't need the promise of playing alongside Stevie G to shine as he hardly had that opportunity in the early days when he made his debut , he shone because he is class.

Baros is not class  and this so called "potential" isn't going to materialise despite having had numerous chances to show what he is capable of, All I've seen is a petulant young man who throws his rattle out of the pram when it doesn't go his way and when it does go his way fails to capitalise and convince many fans like me that he is up to the task .....

Whos that mate? Baros? He's never been a kop favourite and never will be Milan plays for Milan and for nobody else. There are not to many Liverpool fans who like him even before he started all his moaning, he is one of them players you cant take to as a fan.

Are you deaf or did you just not attend games?

think its time for them both to move on personally

dudek did fantastic in the cl final but all too often in the big matches he messes up and is shaky, even in the cl final

baros, had enough opportunities last season to show what he can do, i thought it was cause he was kept on the bench too much with houllier, but i can see now why he was

It looks like rafa wants to sell baros for crouch. Is this a good idea?? I'm rally not sure.

Baros took his goals really well against wrexham - maybe thats a sign that he is returning to form! The form we saw from him at the start of last season. But he did do my head in last season after christmas where he kept running up blind allies and any keeper whose done his homework will know that baros will try and go round him in a one on one situation.

Crouch on the other hand has just had his first good season in the premiership. Can he maintain the sort of form that got him 16 goals for southampton- again, i dont know. Crouch will give us one thing that baros wont, physical presence up front and the ability to hold up the ball and allow midfielders to join the attack. His finishing was very cool last season for a lad with legs longer than inspector gadget! Also, given how skinny and fragike looking his legs are, we couldn't play him at ewood park!

If I had to choose between one of these strikers on their day, i'd definitely go for baros but it seems like an age since he was on form for liverpool and it could be another age before he returns to form.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,

thats a little harsh......

i have heard "milan" "milan" numerous times during matches. I am pretty sure they are not chanting about AC Milan.

Baros has more supporters than you think......

Of course they do because as supporters you "support" the players no matter what, christ, even H Kewell gets his name shouted.

That doesn't necessarily mean that they are a kop favourite or the fans are particularly fond of them though.

there are many fans who only tend to remember about the bad stuff.....

"baros was brilliant before x'mas...but after x'mas he was sh1t....."

i agree but you have to take into consideration the events which occurred...

1)He was playing up-front on his own.
2)Lets face it, the support from our midfield was woeful
3)He was injured....and then rushed back from his injury.
4)Ppl keep mentioning he scored 13 goals...but how many goals was he involved in. He always created spaces by pulling defenders away.
5)getting dropped to a unfit morientas (in league cup)....what will that do to your confidence
6)whats all this sh1t about baros playing for himself...did baros confide in you or something....

Some people are willing to give morientas more time (even though he has been here for more than 6 months) which i agree too.

Then they go ahead and call him world class (based on what ? He is not even in the spain's 1st team). But when baros averages a goal every 2 games for czech republic, he is a headless chicken ???

I hope to god that morientas scores a lot of goals....but i can't see it happening. If we sell baros, we better buy someone good.......(i do not mean crouch).

1) Scums - RVN, Rooney, Smith, Saha
2) Arsenal - Henry, Berkamp, Van persie, (should get a top striker with viera money)
3)Chelsea - Drogba, gudjonsen, crespo, duff

And then us

4)Liverpool - Cisse, Morientas, Crouch, sinama, mellor

I can only safe that Cisse is a safe bet....the others will not even be in the scums, arsenal or chelsea team.

Arsenal - Henry, Berkamp, Van persie, (should get a top striker with viera money)

Based on this:

Best European forward 2004

Champions League Finalist (2004)

2 Spanish La Liga (2000-01, 2002-03)

3 Spanish Super Cups (1997, 2001, 2003)

3 Champions Leagues (1997-98, 1999-00, 2001-02)

2 Intercontinental Cups (1998, 2002)

1 UEFA Super Cup (2002)

1 Subcampeonato of Europe sub-21 (1996)

25 goals for Spain in 38 games. He also had an excellent record at Real Madrid.

What about Reyes, just signed a new deal till 2009 I believe.

anyway by leaving both dudek and baros out, it is a clear signal from rafa that they are not in his future plans. dudek position is covered by reina and baros most likely by crouch.

Baros took his goals really well against wrexham

Keyword in that sentence is Wrexham. Where was he against Juventus,Chelsea and Milan? Where was he in our last 15 games of the season? No where.

based on what ? He is not even in the spain's 1st team). But when baros averages a goal every 2 games for czech republic, he is a headless chicken

Yes he's good for his country but horrible for the club. Morientes has done well for his country and previous clubs, with time given[a full season] he will prove himself here.
