couldnt agree more, the seasons over nothing to write about or sell papers...i know lets print a story sayin Gerrard is leaving AGAIN.
He'll be here next season, look at how happy he in on them pictures on your signature cggy.
I know he had just won the Champs league so he was bound to be made up but he wouldnt of been as ecstatic if he won it with Chelsea.
He said he wants to win trophies and its not about the money....the lad is 25 (just)....he has won the f.a cup once, the league cup twice, the uefa cup, the super cup the community shield and the champions league. The only one missing is the league, and given time Rafa will bring that.

why is it that gerrard/uefa et al seem hell bent on making this the most bittersweet summer ever??

ffs liverpool f.c/rafa benitez need to be getting things organized for next season.
NOT letting us the punters know whats going on is SHAMEFUL.
however much time off/holidays these guys have RIGHTLY earned, this situation(s) could well have been truly put to bed in the few days after the final.
that means.. gerrard could/should have the balls to at least say if he wants out, therefore affording us the knowledge of his TRUE intent. not the hmm, well.. might do if we win this... :censored:

. he s a GREAT player a strong hearted lad on the pitch and id have expected due to that character he surely must be in a position to nail this subject down by now???

on the flip side 30-40 mil im sure would be well spent by mr/mrs benitez

as for rick parry maybe he should have made sure this was sorted B4 barbados.

I think he will be leaving. All of this talk of transfer talks being put on hold because of holidays and weddings, we need, we deserve to know. I would love him to stay, but I just feel like he has pulled on the lfc jersey for the final time.

Why would he say 'how could leave after a night like this" after winning the final and then leave, he can see LFC are going in the right direction!

as i've already said..we are in a win/win situation. If he goes, we get 50million....if he stays we get a world class midfielder....either way, Liverpool FC will be ok!
