Anyone been on the museum & stadium tour? Was it good? What does it involve?
I'm thinking of going next month and want to take some fellow LFC mad mates with me. Is there anything else you could recommend to do while we're there?

cheers

Yeah mate, I asked my girlfriend to marry me on the tour, I popped the question with her sat in the Kop

It's not bad, you get to see the tunnel and everythin, also you can see alllllllllll the silverware in the trouphy room :)

I got an email forwarded to me by a mate who was interested from the curator of the museum saying that its completely booked up.

I've been in the museum once, a few years ago, and those 4 replica European Cups almost made me weep.

Christ knows what a fifth (and original) one will do to me. :O

Lee: go to the official Liverpool website and you'll notice a few announcements from the museum staff about tours etc.

I didn't do the tour itself, just wandered around the trophy room/museum on my own. It was a couple of years ago, and while the trophy room and old replica kits etc are hugely impressive, the museum itself is a bit shabby.

I have never done the walk onto the pitch tour thing.

I have and it was great. I really cherish my picture of me touching the This is Anfield sign  :)

I can highly recommend the Beatles museum in the Albert Dock and the other museums there, Tate, Liverpool life, Maritime.

Then a pint in the grapes in Mathew Street

:)

The White Star and The Grapes are the best down there, Flanagans I still like but becoming a bit touristy

All the other bars down there are just flangebars
