Cissé just came on for Baros with 15 mins left to play.

Nice to see Djibril back.

Xabi Alonso is having a great match as well. We badly missed those two.

yeah, Xabi is playing amazingly well and even lasted the whole 90 minutes. Now i have to decide who to vote for motm : Xabi, Hyypia, or Dudek who all played an excellent match

looked reasonably fit the pair of them, amazing recovery for Cisse epsecially after it was feared he may lose the limb or never play agian.

Cisse is a king fellas , but you all know that. Hes a fighter for sure. A young guy who has a ton of explosive potential if he recovers well. I would like to see him for many years here

Hyypia played like in 2001. Xabi was a master though. I'd say give MOTM to Emerson, just for his shot!LOL!!!!!

I am have not been really convinced by Cisse as his injury interrupted his chances to perform and win us over but it was very nice and touching to see him back after the horriffic leg injury and his running speed is impressive (from what I have seen in the game) considering his fitness level.

i was scared every time the ball went near him just in case, it must be worrying for him.

i was very happy that he came on and was prepared to get stuck in, things are looking good for the semis, we may now even be able to field two forwards and two genuine world class midfielders. the only worry is carras yellow card, could you imagineif he gets one in the second leg against chelski and has to miss the final. lets hope we are 5 up in the firstleg, then he get a yellow and miss the second leg

Probably we'll see more of him especially when he's partnered with Moro.. Baros days are counted I guess..especially he failed to score again after a clear one on one chance... which should have killed the game.
