Persoanally I've been working far too hard and also had a stinking cold but I'm surprised too at the lack of obvious enthusiasm for the forum when we are all but in the last 8 of the CL and on the verge of another Cup Final.....

Also some of the threads have been hijacked by individual spats between members and i suspect that may have put some people off....Surely a PM (private Message) would suffice but sadly some people like to air their persoanl grievances in public
???

I dont think a PM will suffice in some of those spats as lot of them seemed purely designed to grab attention for the poster or perhaps im just too cynical or maybe just despressed as Autumn is fast approaching and it doesnt look like there is any live TV coverage of Carling final here in Oz
Of course i arranged my shifts to be working sunday and have monday off as well

Just one word in diary today

damn   :D

Furthermore to my last im also have to say im quite surprised how negatively in some parts of this forum our CL game against Bayer has been viewed.
While disappointed with Dudek clanger , how can anyone not be wrapped with a 3-1 win with a depleted side whose last outing was the Brummie game.
I would have thought there would have been more buzz in here after that game

I have COMPANY !!!!!!! :D  Hiya Laza :p

I agree with your "attention grabbing" comments mate , all too often people just seem to enjoy finding an ear for their spat rather than addressing teh real issues

The Brum game was a major disappointment but after the CL fixture and an impressive performance all round I too was shocked at the vitriol particularly againt Dudek who pulled off 2 very good saves at 2-0...

Maybe like the press some fans need to have a Villian and a hero after every game , in which case they ought to consider watching pantomines not football !!!! :D

Hiya Dalglish
Im guessing your baby duty at this time of day for you
Yeah its like anything moderation is a key, i enjoy the occasional spat and handbag fight. Even occasional visit from a visiting troll can be fun.
It just seems nowadays we have been flooded with it and lot of faces either have disappeared or just dont bother wasting their times which is a shame.
As far away fan one of things that first attracted me to this forum was getting expert and in depth  reactions and views from the fan in the sharp end ala match goers .
That sort of stuff is still around but you really need a large shovel to find it these days  :D

I think your spot on money with that comment

Regardless of the result, some player has to cop a flogging and needs to be shipped out.

Like the papers we seem to need a headline every day even when there isnt one.
Guess its just human nature

Yep, the lads had the very same cold as Daddy. Its difficult to speculate which of the two of us makes the most fuss when we're ill  :D

Good analogy of the spats on here and if it doesn't get too offensive or personal I enjoy reading the odd tete a tete too  :p

I'm sure the moderators are doing their utmost to bring calm to this place but you can't legislate when people start talking on an empty head  :D

Absolutley spewing about that.

I e-mailed SBS who said they don't have the rihgts to show it which is fair enoguh, but what is foxtel's excuse?

they have shown it live for the last few seasons but this year they decide to show Middlesbrough vs Bolton instead? ??????

I e-mailed fox sports and obvioulsy the ****** didn't rpely, so am trying to find pubs in Sydney that may be showing it but since their is no coverage on Oz Tv, I haven't found newhere as yet.

I think I will have to listen to Steve Hunter on my e-season ticket.   :(
