A relative of mine had a a pirate ship tattooed on his forearm in the 60's, now he is in his sixties and the old skin sags a bit, well, lets just say it looks like a bit of a shipwreck now

Not too sure on that one?..but carra has an Everton tattoo on his uppwer arm thats why he always wears long sleeve shirts he got it when he was a young teenager i think?

Chigz, I would wait a while if Iwere you Ihad my first tattoo when Iwas 16 still remember the crack my Mother gave me when she saw it.They can become quite addictive I have about 15 now.I dont regret getting tatooed but Ido regret getting so many.If Ihad my time over again I would probably still get tattoed, but only the personal ones like my wife and sons names. Take Taffs advice and bide your time,If you still get one make sure its personal to you.Anyway Ithought tattooes were the sign of a gangster were you are.
Just out of interest H.K.tattoo is an Aboriginal sign, he probably doesnt even know what it means but Iam sure he will regret getting it on his hand.

FYI I don't have any tattoos but they don't bother me. They're just not my thing and never will be. Each to their own really.
