why is he a traitor??  He was offered a job by the biggest and most succesful team in the world.. There are few of us who would turn down an offer from the biggest competitor to the company we work for...

I hope he comes back, simply put, he is world class!  Look at the stats to see what he did in an unperforming, defensive, 9 men behind the ball LFC team and think what his potential is playing ina team of the rafaloution
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

m8, i dont share that thought

we need a strong defense, hyppia isnt' up to it and carra, well to b honest at times he is strong, but theres times where his defending is poor, seems to have a problem with balls played to the back post, birmingham and southampton match, was caught out in the wrong position, but would rather keep him and sign a couple of top class defenders, we def need a good right back that actually runs forward and a couple of wingers also, we need to start flowing attacking and have players capable of beating players

pellegrino and warnock were also dragged out of position, what do you expect carragher do, mark 2 men on his own

i`ve seen carragher struggle in games, especially when hypia isn`t there. jamie is a good mopping up type of defender, but he has struggled with percentage balls into the box.

I thought he was a traitor at first, but i think he should come back. he is clinical in the box and him and morientes would be dinamite. Not sure where Cisse would figure when coming back though.
If Owen Came back, morientes would probably think that Owen was after his spot again, like at real.

it won't happen. however if it did, and cisse recovers full fitness, baros would be off like a shot.

I wouldn't bet on that. We still don't know what effect the DOUBLE BROKEN LEG has had on Cisse's speed and, let's be honest here, he doesn't have too much else going for him. What if he can no longer get the propulsion that made him so formidable? Can an old dog learn new tricks?

Being the big fan of Baros that I am, I'd never want to see him leave, even if we did get Owen back. Cisse is the one who is flagging at the moment and the uncertainty over his head will have to be answered with scholaric accuracy. I'd like to see all four (Mori, Owen, Baros, Cisse) together and rying hard. We could then flog FSP and Mellor. We wouldn't get much, but something is better than nothing.

No way do I want Owen back.

Not as pacey as he once was, dodgy hamstrings, moans when things dont go his way, a confidence player who suffers major goal droughts, bad link-up player.  Not to mention being a turncoat who doesn't think Liverpool are big enough for him.

We were lucky to get 8 mil for a player who is still living on past reputation (which is also why he is still on the england team)

Still, he had a few good seasons for us and lets remember him for that.  As for coming back, no thanks

I would welcome Michael Owen back if we were to buy him for under 8 million[the amount Madrid gave us for him]. If Madrid want to sell him for more than 8 million then we shouldn't buy him as it would be bad business.

Don't want owen back "Purely" because i think the team has a chance to move forward, I mean if owens passion was strong about us in the first place would he really have left? i don't really understand people clutching at straws were Owen is concerned it really baffles me for Rushie included to put pressure on Rafa to say WE should go for him if made available i mean why should we?.

Man this is a sticky one Owen is world class yer of course but he is not the be all and end all, I'm sure there are strikers just waiting to be discovered it's always happened players don't just fall onto the field of play they must emerge from somewhere.

INMHO i think we dont need to go backwards just for the sake of it.
