I think Benitez is relying to much on pelle, i found in an article a while back that had Pelle saying that Benitez will want to make him Captain, and now he moved our rock in defence to rb. Bad call if you asked me.

Although Carragher is a great back he's a better centre half. Steve Finnan is better going forward. Yes since Carragher has been moved over to right back things just ain't the same. Not blaming Rafa though as his hands have been tied due to Steve Finnan's injury.

He trusts Pelle implicitely because he never let him down at Valencia. But Pelle has gotten older and slower and has moved to a faster league. rafa just wont be able to rely on him here in the same way he did in spain. proven winner or not
