Woollyback wrote:Christ, Wenger almost seems to have taken this one on the chin and accepted defeat gracefully  :oh:

From LFC TV:

"In the second half we improved and we should have got a point but we made a mistake at the end and they scored. It's hard to swallow when that happens because it is very disappointing. We just have to live with it and accept it.

That quote must have been from when he was still in shock, because he is now adjusting his faint praise to the usual whinge!! :
From BBC Sport:

''Wenger was unhappy about the way his side conceded a last-minute goal, with Neil Mellor smashing in from 25 yards.''

''He added: "I don't think the second goal was outstanding, it was more down to our mistake and that's why it became a good goal.''

Keep on laughing Wooly!!

Saw Wenger interviewed on TV and he was reasonably gracious if a little choked to be fair. I personally wouldn't get into slagging them off. For whatever reason, out of the current top three I dislike them by far the least. They play good football, don't try and buy the championship and best of all always get the better of the Mancs in the long run. If we don't win the title (And you know what, even after today i don't reckon we will :D ) I wouldn't mind if they did for Chelski and obviously ManU.

Ok ok apart from wenger we dont want to bulid up this playground stuff, what manure have with arsenal to be honest, the best team won today and he knows it, this manc is here trying to rile us we dont fall for that one folks, we are supperior than to lower ourselves to that one.
we played outstanding today and stopped arsenal end of story really.
we dont want to get into a bitch fight with them, they are class so are we, Do I need to go on?
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
