Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Bruno Zidane! » Wed Nov 24, 2004 11:38 am

Just heard a rumour in work that Fowler is on his way to Liverpool in january on loan, with Henchoz going in the opposite direction....And the source of this info is Mcmanamans brother in law, so its a pretty good one.

GOD COULD BE BACK!!!

P.S and he would be avalible fro the champs league
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?

Jeez bruno that is some source. Does he know anything else? Mcmanaman will defo still know lots of people at Anfield.
This sounds really stupid, I'm totally against the whole thing but now it looks like its gonna happen I'm quite excited by it. Line up those humble pies and chalk me down for three whole ones.

i think fowler would do excellent at anfield for the short term and he will get us a few goals as u no his goalscoring record is great at liverpool and the fans love him and that will make the boy play much better then his is at man city as every one has lost faith in him when hell come to liverpool it will bring back his confidence and he will start scoring goals again THERES ONLY ONE FOWLER

Haha it is quite a good source, im still waiting on finding out that ronaldinho is signing as well? Seriously though i wasnt to sure on Fowler comin back at first but the more i think about it the more i want it to happen, It would be a great move for Fowler and a good one for Liverpool, it would give the club a massive lift and if Rafa can get Fowler playin anything like he used to at Anfield, its gonna be good stuff.

In Stu's thread "Plea to Rafa Benitez" I said re-signing Fowler would be a bad move for both club and player, and I still think so.

However, if I am wrong I'll happily eat humble pie as I'd love Robbie to succeed, as he is one of my most favourite players ever!

I recently downloaded his 5 goal haul in his third ever match against Fulham at Anfield in the League Cup in 1993, and it brought back memories of how much of an impact God made when he broke into the team.

If it is the case I really hope Robbies got one those grey hooded tops pulled round his face, in the pouring rain down the backroads of Manchester. You know the scene, pitch black and freezing. Here he comes now, Dah dah dah-dah-dah dah-dah-dah dah-dah-dah "getting stronger", it's at this point that he runs up the steps to Salford town hall and starts celebrating like a loony at the top. Cut to Robbie braking into some poor fu ckers chicken run and giving those old cockerels the run around. His wifes not called Adrienne is she by any chance?
Jeez I'm filling up thinking about it. Shame we couldn't get him in time for the Olympiacos game we'd be certainties. I've gotta go lay down. the excitements too much.

If this is true, I will be amazed.
If it is successful I will be 'fookin' double staggered' !!
Talk of Humble Pie, it will need about 50 years supply to cover my disbelief of the return of Fowler saving us from the doom and gloom of mediocrity.

If Robbie come back to Liverpool in January Transfer Window, I reckon he will do a great job to solve the strikers problem, why not have him, I reckon he will do well for us. He know the club very well and he love Liverpool from his heart more than Man City and Leeds Utd.

I wouldn't mind to have him but not McManaman, cos I have no respect for him...did you know that he refused to score any goals against Everton when he played for Liverpool, what a knob!!

Man I have been calling for this to happen since I started posting in the summer. My views have already been made clear before, but for those who aren't in the know....Robbie was screwed by us back in the Houllier days....he wasn't given a fair go and was sold against his will. He belonged at the pool as much as Stevie G does now and it'll be great to have him come back and serve us in the way that Shearer has served Newcastle in his twlight years.

Bring him on.
