Araujo completes Liverpool medical ahead of loan move from Barca

Ronald Araujo has completed his Liverpool medical ahead of an initial loan move from Barcelona.
The signing of the Uruguay international is expected to be announced this afternoon.
The defender's loan also includes an option to buy for around £47.14m (€55m).



My gut tells me his official thread will be busy, hopefully for the right reasons

Having a small-ish membership isnt always necessarily the worst thing in the world, your opinion tends to get read and noted on here, i've been on many high volume traffic sites where your opinion just gets lost in the ether amid a flurry of posts, may as well not bother posting on some sites half the time.
Another thing worth mentioning about this site is you can pretty much post what you want, on some sites [cough RAWK] the mods have declared themselves defenders of the one true faith where criticising a player is a crime punishable by eternal banishment, clearly none of them attended a game in the 60's, 70's or 80's or if they did they were too young to understand what the adults were talking about.

      Yeah, but we're all Veterans whose opinions are accepted and valued, irrespective of whether we agree or disagree with them.  .

Agree with you guys here, I typically browse other forums but I'll only read like a couple of posts. They tend to be very busy, in order to be updated with post you'd spend hours. Here it's got nice chill vibes, we've got a good bunch of lads. We voice our opinions and let off some steam lol. Btw whoes in charge of the forum lol.. 10 years been here and I've no idea.

I think new members are generally attracted to places by traffic, they like to see lots of new posts going up so the lack of activity no doubt puts a few off but as i explained lots of traffic can be a double edged sword, for instance cliques are another annoying thing about some of those bigger platforms, not only are some posters opinions clearly worth more than others you get into a frank discussion with one of the in-crowd and before you know it you are being bombarded by posts from all points of the compass as their minions attempt to rush to the rescue.
You should have seen the sh1.t i got on RAWK for having the temerity to suggest  that Trent was not only engineering his exit from the club but planning on stuffing his pockets full of gold on his way out of the door. the mods kicked off on me and everything. No, give me this place any day of the week.

Told yous years ago we needed better smileys  That and likey things is all the younger generations want nowadays!!

Anyway welcome to the club Aruajo. Have a good feeling about this one
