Good analasys by Carra. He's pointing out things many of us have already been saying for a while so nothing new but it's good to see it with visual examples and commentary. Video is about 25 mins long but only the first 12 mins are about us so no need to watch the whole video.

First class tactical analysis from Carra ! Can only hope that the board, the manager (  :Oo:  ) and the team watched it  :kungfu:

Contrast that disorganised sh1t.show with the likes of Hendo, Fab, Gini, Sadio, Bobby, Milly etc setting traps and hunting in packs, couldn't be more different, like night and fvcking day.
Under Jurgen our defence was actually our best form of attack, how many goals did we score and chances did we create from winning the ball back high up the pitch. You dont have to worry about low blocks when you win the ball high up the pitch either.
The only reason it tapered off a bit at the end of Jurgen's reign was that the players started getting on a bit and the owners wouldnt replace them, you give Jurgen this group of players the core of whom are in their early and mid 20's, players as talented as Wirtz and Isak and Dom and Hugo and Rio not to mention this French wonder kid CB thats coming in the summer....hang on to your effing hats.
If there's been a fall out in the past behind the scene's they all need to grow up and do whats best for the club, there's millions if not billions of quid potentially riding on all this, they are grown men not teenage girls, they need to shake hands let bygones be bygones and get on with the job of turning this club into a bastion of invincibility.
Jurgen said he'd come back in that interview on youtube so wtf are the owners waiting for, any other club including the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man United, Bayern would be in dreamland if Jurgen said something like that about them.

Not sure about his pre-match comments, feels like a dig to the fans after that ***** was booed by them on Sunday

"People have told me when I came here that this club is different than other clubs, they will support the manager for such, such, such a long time.

"But if you are supposing something, then I must have done a lot of things wrong and that's never a nice feeling to have, because being in the club that's always so supportive for the manager, in good and bad times, then if they are not happy with me, then apparently I've done so many things wrong, and that's never a nice feeling to have."

Klopp quit on us, he didn’t even see out his contract so I’d never want someone back that left me high and dry. Also, the year after Klopp won the title, we barely made the CL… it took an Allison goal at the death to sneak in. In that year, we went on a terrible run where we couldn’t buy a point and everyone was breaking records on us. We had our bad moments with Klopp as well. Klopp’s style though was much more entertaining and his team evolved in time into an exceptional unit that played as one, it wasn’t always smooth sailing and had our share of heartbreak.

My issue of getting rid of the manager is I see all teams that lose an influential manager (Wenger, Ferguson, Kenny even) go through periods of instability and change managers every couple of years, including players and that is never going to find success. I wonder had ManUre just showed faith in Moyes for example would they have found more success? Not saying they would have become world beaters but they might have found more success and saved a ton of money along the way. Changing managers regularly doesn’t seem to find success usually. Everyone said we would crumble when Klopp left but we won the title, sacking Slot on his second year after winning the title seems like the instability people expected when Klopp left.

Klopp was the opposite to Rodgers who no one really liked so he was instantly welcomed. Klopp was honest and straightforward and Rodgers was a snake oil salesman so you can see why everybody liked him. Klopp did inherit a nice team though, a team that was highly entertaining to watch if not awful at defending. Slott doesn’t have Klopp’s warmth so he is harder to like, he is straightforward though. Pep had a brand, Klopp had a brand, I think Slot is a mix of both but he doesn’t really have the players to press. If Klopp didn’t have Firmino, who is as rare as they get, he would not have had the team he had.

I don’t feel we are hard working now and I’d like that to change, and that’s hard to see after the Klopp early days where our players had to run 160km or whatever it was. Klopp though did change after so many injuries and we did evolved into more a control team and eventually found success. I have faith in the Liverpool hierarchy and if they find someone stellar then great but just sacking him without a proper plan seems foolish.

If it is true though that the players feel under coached and Slot left 3 days a week to see his family then that is a problem.

Don't care when they do it but he has to go. His style is absolute garbage and his coaching/ management skills are gash. The players haven't got the fight or desire in them to keep him in a job.

Things will get ugly when we get humiliated by PSG and City.

Our next 5 games:

City (a)
PSG (a)
Fulham (h)
PSG (h)
Everton (a)

I think that’ll be as far as Slot goes with us.

Lol and if you go a little further, Palace, United, Chelsea and Villa.

We've got a tough run in to end season.

I expect an announcement today. Feck him off down the road.

Gerrard or Klopp until the end of the season then either Luis Enrique (once he's left PSG or they sack him for sneezing) or Alonso (not sure he's the answer)
Can't think of anyone else up to the job to be fair

After they put up a graphic showing all the remaining fixtures for the teams in contention for the CL places Peter Crouch said after the match on Saturday that he's thought all season that no matter how bad our form or no matter what game we lost on a one-off basis we'd somehow by hook or by crook find a way to finish in the top 4 or 5. He said looking at the remaining games he now doesnt think we'll do it, not only have we got the toughest run in by a mile [Villa in contrast have a lot of very winnable games] we've also got big cup games to negotiate which will not only inevitably distract us [who wouldn't be distracted by a high profile CL QF or SF] but perhaps more importantly - fatigue us. We don't look fit, no matter who we play the last half an hour the game ends up very stretched, teams attack us almost at will and create good chances against us, we dont seem to have the legs to stop them.
Worrying times, this has gone on for 12 months, a fvcking calender year, at this point if we fail to qualify for the CL i'll blame the owners not the manager. You cant blame the manager, unless someone sacks him of course he's going to continue to turn up for work, anyone would in his position, do they expect him to sack himself.

The thing that worries me even more than our current position is how will we retain the services of quality players AND attract other quality players given how things have gone with Slotts "management" this season. Unless there's a dramatic improvement I can't see the likes of Ekitike or Wirtz wanting to stay.
And , let's face it if you were a top shelf player outside looking in would you want to join LFC this summer ?  :no
