Brilliant team performance. Wirtz MOTM. Robbo, Bradley and Szobo all brilliant. Great goal from Macca on the back of a fantastic Szobo free kick. Thought we showed RM that the Premiership is a far cry from La Liga. Having said that Courtois was amazing.

I was dreading that tbh but we stepped up in a big way with a solid performance. Best we have played this season imo.

Defence was solid and Stand up Conor Bradley  :bowdown  Kept that cheating fooker in his pocket all night. Great to see Robbo back in there. Virg and Konate were also brilliant.

Midfield dominated. Great game from Mac, his best this season and thumper of a header for the goal. Grav also good but what a player Szobozlai is. Definitely stepped up a few levels this season and would have been my Motm tonight only for Bradley.

Wirtz was excellent. Put in his best shift to date. Etitike worked really hard and pressed constantly. Got tired 2nd half but good game. Right!! The elephant in the room is stinking!! How did he manage to stay on for the entire game. He was awful, half a yard off it all night.

We absolutely deserved every bit of that win tonight. 1st time this season I thought we looked good throughout. It was great to watch and hopefully the boost we needed to get our sh1t together.

Finally lol at Trent   Still not 1st or 2nd choice!!   Good enough for him!!

I hope Slot has realised that Kerkhez and Gakpo are not starters and on current form neither is Salah.

I have to admit, I almost did a wee map of Cyprus in me jocks thinking about this game tonight. I was nervous, to say the least. But what a performance all round. Only for Courtois that would have been a very humbling result indeed. Considering they battered us 5-2 not so long ago, I was fearing the worst.
So much more energy than in recent weeks. Bradley, Robbo, Wirtz, Szobo, Macca....I thought Mo was ok actually, not as bad as some are saying.
Thought it was poor form to boo TAA - far better to sing the Stevie G song. He won everything at LFC, he was entitled to leave, his choice. Move on.

That was much more like it, the work rate was there, the tenacity was there, Bradley was great, Dom was great, Wirtz was great....i could go on and on pretty much through the entire team.
That crowd are not an easy outfit to beat so well done to Arne and the lads.

Makes a big difference when the team we play comes to play football, hopefully City will play a similar way and we can get a similar result. Two clean sheets in a row and more like it  :buttrock

Great seeing Robbo back in the team playing a blinder.

Frimpong couldn't have done what Bradley did and Kerkez isn't really to take over the Robbo role so I suggest Slot starts all big games with R&B introducing F&K on 60 minutes, bt F&K and mentally at R&B's level, they need time.

Great to see Wirtz, Szlobo, Ekitike show us how the future looks and it looks bright.

Well done lads, everyone put in a massive shift, even Konate for once.

Onwards and upwards.
