Liverpool Football Club - Games

If our leaky-ass defence manages to stop Mbappe, Bellingham, Vini Jnr etc from scoring it will be up there with Lazarus returning from the dead on the miracle scale.

Tough one indeed, keep same sort of  set up like previous match, that is only we could get a result here.

Wonder if Trent is playing...

Fingers crossed. That's the best I can come up with.

I have every faith in Mike Edwards, when we needed a CB we got VVD, after the debacle of Kiev we got Allison, we brought in Szlobo and MacAllister, Isak and Ekitike. I fully expect us to bring in at least one world class CB in the coming months. I just hope we can hang on til then.

Don't think 3 points today will mean much in this CL format but a win against Real Madrid would raise our spirits. Draw wouldn't be a bad result either tbh, losing however will be another blow to our confidence.

Brilliant opening post Yakka. Truly feckin inspirational  :no I don’t post much these days due to the ridiculous levels of negativity. Some of you no doubt will say, WELL EVERY CLOUD

Obviously this won’t be easy but it goes without saying that if we are at our best we can certainly get a result. RM are used to playing in a fairly average league. Liverpool are used to playing in the toughest league in the world !!

Never a handball that but it should be a pen if they're giving it.

What the hell shouldn't have that been a corner at least? How did they decide ball to Real Madrid out of all of that?

Real are kings of the dark arts.

Dodgy handball, and their players crowding the ref as he’s trying to watch the replay.

Excellent first half. Fair to say that we deserve to be in the lead. Bradley first half MOTM. Wirtz looking impressive. Great save from Marma when needed. Not sure about the hand ball. Certainly didn’t look intentional to me.

First time this season we’ve looked like a team.

Huge improvement in all areas.
