West Ham at home next round. Could have been worse but with Port Vale and Middlesbrough who are still in (and drew each other), it could also have been better.

Who do we play in the semis if we go through? Is it predetermined or another draw?

I think another draw,

One of tougher opposition will be out, Chelsea vs Newcastle.

Hopefully we get past Westham then face one of the lower teams.

A Merseyside Derby final would be epic lol.

Another great confidence building result, well done Reds.
What a goal from Nunez, again it's all about confidence.
Ref West Ham, Gollum never wins at Anfield....

The strike from Nunez was an absolute f*cking missile.  :buttrock

Good game all round in some really awful stormy conditions, hats off too all the supporters who braved the elements for this one.

Bournemouth certainly didn’t look like a team struggling at the bottom of the table. Played some decent football. Hopefully they’ll test City at the weekend. Phenomenal goal from Darwin. Elliot played some fantastic through balls. Our NEW midfield continues to impress. Gakpo, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai are a massive improvement on what we had to contend with last season. Decent determined result in thoroughly awful conditions.
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years (10 years
are in brackets)
LFC £255m (£467m)
Everton £38m (£287m)
Arsenal £645m6 (£925m)
Spurs £510m (£541m)
Chelsea £788m (£1007m)
Man City £307m (£1012m)
Man United £702m (£1249m)

I think weather like that acts as an equalizer, they’ll probably have trouble against City

Think you’re totally right mate, but I can live in hope !! Strange things happen in football.
