League Cup 4th Round - Bournemouth Away - 19:45 Wed 1 Nov

Liverpool Football Club - Games

With 5 subs nowadays you can afford to rotate a bit more than in the past. Personally, I'd make 11 changes. The weather is looking atrocious with heavy rain and wind predicted so this will likely be quite draining on the legs and a higher risk of injury. I wouldn’t want any of our current first 11 playing more than 45 minutes. Use 5 subs from a strong bench in the 2nd half to effect the game. Bournemouth are likely to make some changes too, so I'd back our second string to be competitive even if it does include 2 or 3 academy boys.

Unavailable: Bradley, Robertson, Bajcetic, Thiago, Clark, Diaz, and probably Doak
Team that started against Forest and will likely start against Luton on the weekend: Alisson, Trent, Tsimikas, Konate, van Djik, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Salah, Jota, Nunez

                           Kelleher

Gomez          Matip          Quansah         Chambers

      McConnell         Endo          Jones

          Elliott          Gakpo        Koumas

Sub: Adrian, Trent, Tsimikas, van Djik, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Salah, Nunez

Good point about the storms, apparently it’s bad down south. I’d love us to go through though, Pep L has spoken in the recent past about how us going deep in both domestic cup competitions that year we nearly did the quadruple helped everyone feel involved and helped engineer a culture where no one wanted to lose and let everyone down

Hope Kelleher doesn't have another brain fart like his last game, assuming he starts

Apparently Nunez scored a blinder, Great to see him on the score sheet again.

Typical Nunez lol, poor touch but world class finish lol.

Newcastle and just Chelsea main opposition left, United, Arsenal out. I guess West ham also fairly decent.

Pretty sure Nunez is averaging 1 goal in every 2 games. Hopefully it continues.
