Why the hell did he even play, Senegal have already qualified as first placed.

An international break wouldn't be an international break without one of our players getting injured.

Which for the 38th time is why we need another top class striker as these international breaks are never going to go away...

Should we have 5 in the squad ?

I’m not sure many teams have 5

We have 4 plus Origi and Taki both of whom have done well this when called upon

Both players have failed to fulfill their potential, I'd happily sell them both to bring in another Jota.

You'll struggle to find another Jota to come here as 5th choice behind our magnificent 4. Might have to be another Origi!

Another Jota to come and sit on the bench ?

That’s going to be hard to do

How they let Mane continue after that incident is beyond me.
Some will seek a result regardless of players welfare, disgusting.

Especially when they don’t own the player.

Well in Sadio congrats, unlucky Salah. Senegal Afcon winners on penos, first ever Afcon for them.

Congratulations Sadio. Wonderful result for both yourself and your country. Very well deserved. Somewhat amazed that Mo Salah was listed as the fifth penalty taker and so never had the opportunity to take a penalty. Seems a somewhat ridiculous decision whoever was responsible for making it that one of the best penalty takers in the world is basically left standing looking on  as a spectator. I fully appreciate that hindsight is an exact science but surely you make sure that you use your best penalty takers as early as possible. We all witnessed an incredible display of nonsense by Southgate in the final of the EURO’s so I presume the person responsible for making the decision was the manager.

Congrats to Sadio, hope this win will raise his morale and up his performances for us. Too bad about Salah but there could have been only one winner. Opposite of Mane, I hope losing this final won't affect Mo's form negatively.

Delighted for the lad.  Wins player of the tournament and scores the winning penalty so it couldn't have went any sweeter for him.  He deserves every bit of it as well.  :nod
