Liverpool v Wolves 29/12/2019

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby woof woof ! » Sat Dec 28, 2019 1:46 pm

Really looking forward to this game.
Must admit although it's at our place I think it's gonna a be a lot tougher than the Leicester game.

Anyone concerned about this Adama Traore fella ?, he's built like a brick Sh*t house, determined , aggressive and  quick off the blocks. I think he may be a handful for some of our lads.

We can of course win this one but I've gotta feeling it may be one of the toughest games we've had this season. Although they've had less time to recuperate than us for this game, after their win against City they will come to Anfield with their tails up !

Hope I'm wrong and we blow them away but I'm guessing at a narrow 2-1 win for us Reds.

Yeah Woof no doubt about it Traoré is beginning to look very impressive. Definitely not the headless chicken he once was. He certainly impressed last night and he was great to watch. I just don’t think he will see that much of the ball at Anfield. Wolves on their day can be very useful but that said we are not too shabby either. I think we will win comfortably.

I think this game has the potential to be very tough, especially if Jurgen decides to rotate the team which I think he will. Wouldn't surprise me if he went with a similar line up to the one that took to the field against Everton. Hopefully we'll get to see a similar performance as well.
The chance to move 17 points clear of City isn't something we should be taking lightly though, whoever plays tomorrow has to play like their lives depend on it.

I think Wolves will rotate as well as us, they played last night, again tomorrow and Thursday. It wouldn't surprise me if Nunes decides it would be easier to get 3 points against Watford on Thursday than risk knackering his players and going all out against us.

Yeah that's a definate possibility, with less than 48 hours between games it must be at the back of Nunes's mind that one of his main men could easily pull a hamstring and be out for 6 weeks if he's not careful. There's a good chance both managers will rotate tomorrow.

Wolves are a good side and play decent football. However, I feel we will be too strong for them. We just have to keep on winning and building the gap between us and the rest.

Yup agree on Adama, he looks more composed now and certainly has potential to be very good. I wonder how he would've been under Klopp.

Hopefully Wolves'll tire after an hour from the City game. The atmosphere will be electric after the World Cup game and the Leicester game, fingers crossed we'll batter them 4-1.

Just watched a clip on YouTube where Nuno Espirto Santo admitted to journalists that he would be making changes for today's game, he wouldn't be drawn into how many but he did confirm that there would be some. If both managers ring the changes you'd like to think that plays into our hands, our squad must be deeper than their's, saying that it depends on which players get rotated I suppose.
It will be interesting to see the team sheets later.

Wolves were good last season as well but we didn't have any problems beating them. Not saying it'll be an easy match but I think we'll be too much for them at Anfield.

As for Traore, here's a short clip of him some of you may remember:

Lallana in for Hendo otherwise it's the same line up that started against Leicester.

Seen that now. Thought Hendo would have sat out seeing as he limped out against Leicester
