Chelsea started out like a house on fire, they were actually putting us to shame the way they were on the front foot and bossing City's midfield, the moment KDB's shot got deflected into the net though you could see the confidence drain out of them. In fact they are lucky that it's still only 2-1, I don't know what their keeper was doing passing it straight to Aguero, they were very fortunate to get away with that.

37 out of a possible 39 points is incredible. Not at our best but winning ugly is one of the keys to winning the title. VVD MOTM for me - absolute monster and clears out the penalty area time and time again. Fabinho also had a great game. Think we got lucky with VAR. The vast majority of refs would have allowed that goal. December will be a massive test and I’ve got to say I’m dreading it.

Can't believe he is the worlds most expensive keeper, just as bad as Maguire being the worlds most expensive defender

We are keeping getting these kinds of result with an element of luck in it despite the team average display, for sure it is welcoming news and no one can complain, it was a massive 3 points, VVD was excellent.

Good luck lads

Tough game, but a brilliant result. I don't think you can over estimate the affect that games like this have on our opposition. We're already in the head of Pep and his players. Watching us scrap past Palace must have felt like a defeat in itself.

Mate it isn't just Girlieola and his players, their fans are in absolute meltdown. The fans are claiming VAR for everything and even suggesting that the game is totally bent so that Liverpool can win the league. Certainly didn't see anything remotely like that when they won 14 straight last season !! One poor deluded prat is struggling to believe that they have spent £500m more than Liverpool on players in net terms over the last five years. His exact were "surely that isn't true" !!

It's a big conspiracy, apparently.

They make the Bluenoses look optimistic on life...their forums are filled with bitterness, conspiracy theories and delusion.
