Crystal Palace vs LIVERPOOL : Sat 23 November 2019 : 1500 KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Here we go again...  back to the bread n butter stuff... 3 points here will put Man.city out of the running for sure as they host Chelsea. I can see City getting beat TBH.
Lets keep the winning momentum going however it would be nice to just put this lot to the sword and rack up a cricket score but Palace are tough for us to beat and I can see this one going to a hard fought 1-2 win.

Ugh, won't be an easy game, especially right after the international games. Palace aren't as good as they were last season I think, but we've always had troubles playing them, and they love to play against the big teams, so they'll be up for this one.

We also have a few key players that might be injured or otherwise unavailable. I think Salah and Robbo will definitely miss this one.

To be completely honest I can see us drawing this one, but as long as City and Chelsea do the same, it won't be a problem.

Without Robbo and Salah we should still have enough to get a win and if we don't then our squad isn't worth a shyte.  Its only 2 players and in fairness Salah hasn't been setting the roof on fire so we should be able to see this one through without them. Milner or Gomez will cover for Robbo and Ox can play in salahs position.

Il go for a 2 nil win and we keep a clean sheet  :nod They have lost 3 and drew 1 from their last 5 games so they are there for the taking if we show up with the right mentality.

I agree with the general consensus, this is probably going to be another toughie, they usually are down there to be fair but as dj says I don't think Palace are quite the side they were say, 18 months ago.
One thing's for sure though if we can eek out a win the pressure on City when they walk out to play Chelsea at half 5 will be immense. Let's secure the 3 points and pile the pressure on.

Zaha will be missing for them

Yup, just saw the training pics and they're both there, so they'll play most likely.

Beat Palace and we'll be 12 points clear of City (who play the Chavs at 5:30pm).  If Chelsea win that then I'll stop following City's results and start concerning myself with Leicester...

Thanks for the heads up.
Zaha will be a big miss for them, I'm feeling a bit more confident now than I was, say, 5 minutes ago before I clicked on this thread.

It seems like a very long time since we well and truly stuffed it up City. International breaks with their brainless fans can do one as far as I am concerned. How do I support a team when I loathe and detest half the players and a very large number of the pathetic fans. This lot make it hard to be patriotic.

This one won’t be easy. We need to apply the same mental approach that has secured a nine point lead at the top of the Premier league. Attitude and desire have been key factors this season. Kloppo has got the team in a great mental place and that is worth more than anything and I really do mean anything. If we just go out and do more of the same we will win.

Robbo has made it but Mo is only fit enough to make the bench, AOC steps in to replace him. Zaha has made it for them as well.

Ruled out VAR, quite right, Lovren was pushed over when he went to jump for the header
