I tend to agree, we have been down this road too many times. Our only saving grace is that Chelsea too wil not make CL.

Well the morning papers are saying we still hold an interest bu the fee is a stumbling block and valuations are too far apart but we have not given up  on the signing - yet -

Is Kasper Scehmicheal an upgrade to Mignolet ? Dont think its best option out there

Decent keeper for sure, he wouldn't be my number one choice either, big fan of Jack Butland

sadly kasper smeichel is not fit to lace the boots of his more illustrious father, whom I consider as the greatest premier league keeper ever. I would look to Germany for good keepers.

We are linked with Ter Stegen (Germany's number 2 keeper) who is currently at Barcelona, but according to papers they want 30 million for him

I'd pay for him mate. 30 million is like 20 million 2 seasons ago. And Ter Stegen should be no 1 at Liverpool than no 2 at barca.

£30m for a keeper? Ter Stegen is good but he has dropped a fair few clangers at Barca (that's why he is number 2 there).
Not to mention that you could probably get Buckland for under half that amount!

Shopping list:

Begovic for GK. (will never get first team football at Chelsea)
Subotic for CB. (Can't get a game for Dortmund this season; if Klopp trusts him then why not)
Anyone for CM (spend big money here; Gundogan, R.Sanches, W.Carvalho, etc.)
Forget Teixeira, spend that money on Payet. (One of the most underrated players around imo; better than Coutinho ?)

That's how much we have to pay nowadays. We need to show ambition. Today's 30 million players are equivalent to 15-20 million players 2 seasons ago. Today there are more and more 60 million players whereas 2 season ago that's like Luis Suarez range. We have to stop fecking around with players that come cheap.
