Liverpool and Everton target Cristian Tello looks set for a move to Sevilla as part of Ivan Rakitic's long-awaited switch to Barcelona.

The Catalan club are on the verge of sealing a deal to land Croatian ace Rakitic from their La Liga rivals Sevilla.

The 26-year-old has agreed personal terms with Barca and a fee seemed to have been agreed - but now Spanish paper Estadio Deportivo has reported that Tello will be included in a part-exchange.

So now they must wait for the 22-year-old forward to discuss personal terms in Seville.

He may still hold out for a move to England, with Liverpool and Everton both keen on bringing him to Merseyside, but Barcelona are hoping Sevilla can convince him to stay in Spain.

Liverpool and Everton could be about to offer QPR outcast Stephane Mbia the chance to stay in English football.

The midfielder is out of contract at Loftus Road at the end of the month and it is unlikely that he will sign an extension in west London.

He spent the whole of last season on loan at Sevilla and impressed in Spain, starring in the side's Europa League glory, scoring in each leg of the semi-final and successfully converting a penalty in the winning shoot-out against Benfica.

A permanent deal at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan is a possibility but now according to French radio station RMC Sports, Liverpool and Everton are considering offers for the Cameroon midfielder.

It has been suggested that both Merseyside rivals are lining up one-year deals for the 28-year-old, who is currently competing at the World Cup in Brazil.

I'll actually be a bit disappointed now if we don't sign Markovic or Sanchez.
The noises coming out of Madrid seem to suggest that Real might be lining up a big bid for Luis, bringing someone like Alexis Sanchez in might convince Luis that we are a club that's ambitious and going places ourselves.
A forward line that contains the likes of Suarez, Sanchez, Sterling, Sturridge, Coutinho and Lambert would be among the very best in Europe IMO.

Brendan Rodgers is eyeing a move for Italian winger Antonio Candreva.

The 27-year-old was in fantastic form for Lazio last season and provided the cross for Mario Balotelli's winning goal against England on Saturday night.

Candreva has now fuelled speculation linking him with a move away from Serie A after admitting that he holds a desire to play Champions League football next season.

According to the Express, Rodgers has been keeping tabs on the winger.

Lazio are unlikely to allow their star player leave on the cheap, and are reportedly said to be unwilling to sell Candreva unless someone meets his £20m valuation.

Juventus and Paris Saint Germain have also expressed an interest, and Candreva has confirmed that he will not look to resolve his club future until he finishes playing at the World Cup.

Liverpool are continuing to hold off pulling the trigger on the signing of Alberto Moreno from Sevilla as they investigate alternatives, including Ajax defender Daley Blind.

The Reds had agreed a fee of €20m plus a further €2m in add-ons for Moreno, but amid wranglings over the structure of the payments, pulled back from completing the deal.

The Premier League runners-up have agreed a contract with Moreno, which would see him pen a five-year deal and earn €1.5m per year. But they are worried they are overpaying for the Spain international.

According to Seville-based daily Estadio Deportivo, that means considering alternatives to Moreno and their cost.

One man increasingly on the radar at Anfield is Holland international left-back Blind.

Liverpool are impressed with Blind's versatility, with the player also able to operate in the centre of defence and as a defensive midfielder, sitting in front of the back four.

He is currently in action with Holland at the World Cup.

Liverpool have made an official bid for MK Dons starlet Dele Alli. (Sky Sports).

I know that Stu was joking but I just wanted to say that you're doing a good job posting these rumors, Cardiff red. You're making it easier (for me at least) to follow our transfer activities.
