So you can appeal a red card but not two yellows is ok? Or the referee took action so no further action will be taken? There's just a couple that beg a lot of questions.

Let's not allow blind loyalty to cloud our perception of what Luis did. Luis was bang out of order, the red mist descended and he lost it. If anything he was lucky to not be banned for the rest of the season at least.

On the upside Luis seems to have learnt his lesson and we are seeing a man more in control of himself and he's a better player for it.

It's not blind loyalty mate. I can live with the lengths of the bans if they are consistent.Let's face it George Boyd will not get a 10 game ban and Ramirez won't have his ban extended? I'd put good money on that and that is what I have a major problem with.I will never be convinced that what Luis did was in the same stratosphere as Ramirez.

Suarez already has 2 more goals than RVP won the golden boot with last season with 8 games left and having missed 5 games. Utterly mental.

The most ridiculously talented player I've ever seen playing for this club.

Quite simply lost for words at his sheer brilliance.

We're clearly not a one man team, Coutinho, Sturridge and Sterling are all very talented... Luis is without a doubt, for me is ten classes above though. Never seen a player who contributes so much in every department. Absolutely sublime.

Best player I have ever seen in a red shirt!! In fact I'd almost go as far as to say he is the best player I have seen in any shirt and I go back a bit! UNBELIEVABLY SPECIAL! He deserves a title based purely on entertainment. Comolli made some disastrous mistakes but Luis without doubt was his finest hour. Massive credit to the owners and management team during the summer of Luis's discontent

I would say Suarez is currently the third best player in world football. Messi and Ronaldo are ahead but Luis is closing that gap.

Regardless he should be a contender for the balon dor next year.

Actually, considering only this season, I think he's been the best player in world football. Or at least joint best with Ronaldo. Messi hasn't been at his best this season (provided he was injured for a while).

I agree. I also understand last weekend Suarez equalled Fernando Torres' 102 Liverpool league appearances by 1 goal. (102/66 against 102/65), which makes Suarez prolific than Torres was in 102 games.

Luis Suarez has to beat Andy Cole & and Alan Shearer on 34 goals for the season to make history. With 8 games to go & sitting on 28 goals now i'd say he will make history. Amazing since he missed the first 6 games.

Just look at some of the other big name strikers to grace the EPL, Suarez looks like the best of the lot (Even better than Robbie)

Our old mate Torres in his best form on 24, surely Sturridge will match or better that, oh and some guy called Owen who managed 18 back in god knows when.

Its unheard of in premier league history to have 2 top scorers from the same club! more history in the making!
