I was as pi'ssed off as maybe even you when Luis got the ten match suspension BUT what would our reaction have been if for instance instead of Luis it was John Terry (or any other Chelsea player) that had bitten one of ours ?
My guess is we'd be screaming for a lifetime ban.
Let's not allow blind loyalty to cloud our perception of what Luis did. Luis was bang out of order, the red mist descended and he lost it. If anything he was lucky to not be banned for the rest of the season at least.
On the upside Luis seems to have learnt his lesson and we are seeing a man more in control of himself and he's a better player for it.
PS. I think the word is "spur" not "spare" :D
