Pedro is the most unrealistic suggestion I've read in this thread for years.  Didn't he score a hat-trick for Barcelona the other week?!  He'll get enough games there to keep him happy and if he doesn't then there'll be a long queue to sign him.

Rakitic, Salah and Montoya are the three names that won't go away.  Rakitic has a high buy out, but plenty of sources suggest he's available for less than that.  Salah looks nailed on and Rodgers has been after Montoya for about a year now.

Alonso I've mixed feelings about.  You can't play a pressing game with two sitters in midfield.  Lucas, Gerrard and Alonso all now play that position, granted I reckon Alonso does that job better than the other two.  We need a midfielder who can boss the midfield and to me Alonso isn't the man for that job at his stage of his career.

We definitely need to strengthen in January though, and I don't mean squad players.

Agree with the last few posts. We don't need squad players, we need players in the starting 11. If I had things my way, Tello, Barkley and Coleman would be Liverpool players in January

according to rawk and other LFC forums salah is going to sign on thursday.
not sure a wide player is a priority atm but this lad does seem jet heeled and pace is a great asset to have in the prem, not only that he`s scored against chelsea and spurs in the CL too so he knows where the net is (and played at a decent level).

This is horrible if it's true. He'll be the next El Zhar. I really hope it's Tello that we're signing. At least he's played at a higher level.

well it looks like it`s happening, dont know much about him tbh, opta says he has scored in his last 3 games against chelsea in the CL so he must be half decent.

The more videos I watch of this Salah guy, the more I don't want him here.

Also why do we always purchase players in positions that aren't really a priority?!?

We need to bring in a solid DM as Lucas' performances have deteriorated over the last few seasons. 

Also wouldn't mind signing a solid wing back who play on either wing as Johnson needs to be sold.

he's a cracking player, fast as lightening, skillful as anyone I've seen, he was great in the CL and I hope he comes here. you think Courtinho and Suarez are good? fuk me this lad fits right in with them 2.

More and More Rumors are circulating around Mata and Inter...If he is out for grabs shouldn't we be one of the primary grabbers?

Nah, sadly that won't happen as they wouldn't want to strengthen their rivals.

one or two papers (and ITK`s) are saying that we have signed a deal with derby that gives us first option on will hughes.
rodgers doesnt want to sign him yet because he wouldnt get the game time here that he`s getting at derby but word is we`ll more than likely sign him in the summer.
be a good signing that (if it happens)

Lets give it a try anyway apparently situation deteriorated even more after today's game ,In which Mata looked pretty upset after being subbed and Jose (the idiot) said he is free to leave.

Juan Mata is a Quality player like to see him wearing a red shirt but like what as allready been said can't see him coming to us.

So no new signings yet then?

we clearly do need cover for wide attacking players. Sterling is very young and we know can be inconsistent at times. Moses hasn't shown anything to suggest the loan will be made into a signing. Coutinho isn't a wide player yet we have had to play him there for lack of other options.
