Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

His class, quality and infectious work rate is clearly rubbing off on everyone.

I'd say he's helped take Henderson, Allen, Coutinho and even Sterling up a level in recent weeks.

He's the best player in the world on form and the second best on ability. :bowdown

I agree, definitely the best player in the world so far this season.

In other news, a few records broken by Suarez again:

First player in the Prem to score at least 10 goals in a single month (keep in mind there's 2 more games to play in December).

Leveling Andrew Cole's Premier League record in scoring 19 goals in the first half of the season (bigger motivation to score against City and Chelsea now).

First player to score at least 2 goals in 4 consecutive games.

19 league goals and we arent even at the halfway point of the season yet! most strikers would be over the moon with a return of 19 league goals from an entire season, that in itself is a strike ratio of 1:2 which is excellent, so god only knows what luis strike ratio is!
two superb goals as well, not to mention putting one on a plate for sterling.

God and fivecups, it's 1.58 goals per Premier League game played this season which is truly astonishing, ridiculous, sublime and downright orgasmic all at the same time.

BASK IN IT NEWKIT, WE HAVE THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD ON CURRENT FORM!

Is it true his contract contains a release clause that can only be activated by a non English team? Good move IMO.

He was magic today... again. That 2nd goal was similar to the one he scored against Stoke a few years ago minus the initial nutmeg. Hope he stays injury free for the rest of the season.

That second today though, shades of Ronnie Whelan, Milk Cup final 1983.

Whelan's curled it  :buttrock
