Chelsea sold him because they have better players.

We got what we paid for.

Top scorer in the league currently and in s.hit hot form. They got Torres for 50 million.

I'd say we got more than what we paid for.

He also has more allround ability IMO. Also, remember Cole couldn't hit a cow's @rse with a banjo at times, he'd need at least 5 decent chances to put 1 away, wasn't the most clinical of poachers.

Complete myth.

It can't be any clearer who got the better deal. Currently Sturridge is a better goal scoring striker

Disagree.... not a myth at all.

He was wasteful in front of goal. It took 7 chances before he would put one in the onion bag. Obviously that's an exaggeration but he was by no means a natural finisher. What was amazing about him was that he always got himself into positions to score. That takes some doing and youhave to give him credit for that. If he could finish like Owen or Fowler, he would have probably averaged close to a goal a match.

Sturridge is not as complete a player as andy cole. Much as it pains me to say it... but cole was the better player.... but he definitely couldn't hit a cow's @rse with a banjo

I do think that Sturridge is a good player though. But he really needs to do more. At times he strikes me as being a little lazy. For the money that we paid for him, he is an absolute bargain..... a superb buy.. bang for the pound-wise.

Torres v Sturridge at current form...who got better player? and who got the better deal? sometime I do question your state of soberness.

I can understand if you're trying to be controversial to take over Alan Hansen's job (since you claimed to have played at a very high level) but then again I think you're drunk in front of your computer most of the time anyway  :D
