He missed a number of early games after his transfer due to an injury.

They are the same position wise. They're not really wingers, both are like second strikers. Willian is more suited wide than Coutinho but he doesn't actually provide that much width. But I personally wouldn't play either of them behind the strikers, unless the opposing team decides to sit back and park the bus. We'll have a very slow and fragile midfield if we do so I would rather use Henderson as an AMF.

Coutinho likes to drift back into the middle and play the ball forward, because he should be in the middle. He just drifts naturally to where he can do the most damage, he's not a wide player.

WIllian cuts inside from the left to either shoot or play the ball across, he doesn't fade back to get the ball, then turn and look through. He uses his skill to beat people on the edge and work inward, Coutinho doesn't seem to like the ball when he's up against the sideline.

Similar players, but they're best positional play is very different.

he`d fit our system perfectly -

                                             suarez               coutinho                 willian

                                                                     sturridge

and i wouldnt worry about scoring goals, pretty soon we`ll have both sturridge and suarez in the side who will both score 20+ this season imo.

Certainly looks very attacking and will work against a lot of teams.

that would be a real shot at 4th with suarez and aspas thrown in. im well impressed so far with aspas and think he is inteligent enough to make up for the lack of physicality in his game. if he keeps those runs up its only a matter of time before coutinho helps him to double figures as well.
this lad from valencia looks to be on his way so if we can get willian as well then it wouldnt have been too bad a window. id like to see papa also, but as long as skyrtel stays then it doesnt matter. toure will go to the african nations so maybe we can land him in january.
usually about 5-6 games in you can see teams start to pull away from the pack so if we can get a winning run going and are in that group then we can only kick on from that point. no europe could be a blessing for us this year.

There isn't a African Nations Cup next year as its a World Cup year - 2015 is the next one

Heard from a very good source re Willian. His agent is pushing him towards us but his got a preference for Spurs himself. Utd also in the mix. I think he may well end up at us IMO

This deal is all about money IMO and I have a feeling we are prepared to pay him more than spurs. Utd also i the mix but his not as much of a priority for them
