I hope we get him. How are Spurs funding all their dealing by the way? Are they preparing to let Bale go?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

They are funding it due to the increased Tv money every team got this summer ( about £40-50mil ) plus they have a new sponsership deal and they are dipping into their funds.

Spurs are spending the Bale money. Just doing their business before letting him go IMO

Just have to hope he doesn't want to play for a London club. Get the feeling that is becoming a big factor for players these days.

If we lose out on Willian after the Micky Ryan loss, it will be a big blow and also make Tottenham stronger too.

Agreed. Seems the most feasible suggestion.

Heard that LFC have agreed terms with Willian, but not a fee with Anzhi. Is this true? totsh1te have, according to reports, gone straight in with the £30m.

We need decisive action to be taken now. If we want the player, sort it today, not tomorrow or later in the week. Today.

I wonder though, if he doesn't end up going, does that mean Totsh1te will be in debt?

Most teams will have running debt. Levy seems a very good CEO and as mentioned the clubs got a big influx of extra money this summer from the new tv deals. Financially Spurs have always been sold

Closing out a deal is one thing, but should we be paying 30 million for a relative unknown? How much did Suarez cost? How much did Coutinho cost?

Relative unknown ???

We paid £22 mil for Suarez and £8mil for Coutinho

At times if we really want a player we will need to pay the fee.

Slightly negative but I think he might choose London and European football.

yes a relative unknown, he is only a year younger than Suarez. Is he as good as Suarez for us to be paying 30 million? How much did the man's pay for Ronald? 12 million I believe. Does he have as much potential as greaseball? For 30 million we should be getting a proven quality player. Willian may have quality, but he's not proven at the best leagues... It's a massive risk, one which reminds me of Carroll's purchase...

Willian has been playing in Europe for a number of years and has played in the CL for a number of years and has already been the subject of one big transfer.

Ronaldo arrived as an untested untried spotty teenager.

Willian has proved himself in the CL against top clubs. And has been highly though off by a number of teams. He provides the quality we need. Yes he is a bit over priced and yes he is a risk but he isn't Andy Carroll and if everytime we look to spend £30 mil people dismiss it because of the Carroll deal then we won't buy anyone.

Think it was reported that Willian would decide today as to where in England he like to play i.e LFC or Tots.

Come on LFC, get this sorted today.

Maybe Spurs are not as keen on as him as is being made out. Wouldn't be surprised if Anzhi are just trying to drive his price up with all this supposed interest from other clubs
