You want an Arab to take over?

If they are the people that show the ambition then yes

Doesn't matter where they are from as long as they show the intent and ambition to get the club into the CL

I do, I want a Man City like injection of money, I'm growing impatient for another league title and at the current rate it will be at least another 8 years before it comes.

BTW Suarez snubbing the fans is way way way out of order, the other players should manhandle the c%^t over to the fans and force him to acknowledge them, if he still refuses give him a proper kicking, off camera of course then claim he slipped and fell down a flight of stairs, repeatedly.

well it looks like his agent is going to get a court order and is going to hand it to the club. this could run and run.

look the way I see it his cutting his ties with the club, yes us fans back him but not for much longer.
and if he moves to a prem team then he will have no respect from Liverpool fans.

Whether and Arab Sheik or a Russian Mogul the hell with both of them. I don't want a Plastic ,"TV dinner team" which you just heat and serve for getting a championship. Do it the hard way the right way ,joy will be much bigger.

Do it the hard way ? When did a team last do it the "hard way"

It's been 22 years now - doing by spending lots is the way that works and gets what we need.

Yeah lets get rid of owners and bring in Russian or Arab money or perhaps we end up with another Hicks or some whackjob billionaire who can put statue of Micheal Jackson or Gary Glitter in front of Anfield.

Or we get owners in like city who bankroll both players and facilities and commercial backing to allow them to start to become one of the biggest clubs in England and Europe and win titles

Pffffft. If you want it like that Benny, play footie manager and do the trick of selling all your cra*p to Man U for all their cash. I don't envy Chelsea or City for buying the trophy. Those trophies are worthless in my eyes.

Why are they worthless ? Because they bought quality players to get a quality team to win trophies ? That's pretty much the same as every single club that wins trophies on a regular basis. No club wins without buying quality players.

Liverpool FC striker Luis Suarez was cheered by thousands of fans at an open training session at Anfield.

Just like on Saturday at Steven Gerrard’s testimonial, virtually everything the Uruguay international did brought the select 5,000-strong crowd to life.

Suarez was fully involved in training,  even going through some individual three-quarter sprints almost the full length of the pitch while the rest of the squad recovered from a small-sided game exercise.

One looping shot onto the crossbar was cheered by the Kop and also showed he has retained much of his sharpness during his summer break with a smart volley in a game situation bringing a good save out of Simon Mignolet. He also waved to the crowd, despite earlier reports he did not.

Training also saw the first public appearance of fellow Liverpool FC striker Daniel Sturridge, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury since the end of last season.

He also took full part in the training session and with two friendlies remaining - one against Valerenga in Norway on Wednesday and the other versus Celtic in Dublin on Saturday - before Liverpool host Stoke on the opening day of the season, the England international will be looking to increase his involvement.

Reds fans are just unique ,a total enigma to everyone else ,but unique in every possible respect .....And Sturridge is back in training .

So ambition is directly proportional to the amount of money the owners pour into the squad? Modern day football is depressing
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

You want us to become another Chelsea or City? PSG or Monaco?

Come on Benny, get real, the owners are trying to get us the best deals possible and trying to expand our market into Amcerica while maintaining markets elsewhere. If you want them to do none of that and just p!ss money into the club then that's your prerogative. I personally cannot wait for Abramovic to get bored of Chelsea and see how they cope without his funds, City too, and the rest. I want long term stability for Liverpool Football Club and maintain the soul of this wonderful club. If you'd sell everything we've built for the league tomorrow then fair dos Benny but that is most definitely not the reason I love this football club

He stood in a line up with the rest of the squad before they started and waved to the crowd - he was stood in between Mignolet and Coates.

At the end of the training sessions the squad then went to clap the Kop and sign a few autographs - Suarez didnt and went down the tunnel as soon as the training session finished. And that's from someone who was there and has photographic evidence and has posted it elsewhere
