Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

Does he not see that if he stays and if we sign 2 quality players and Arsenal stay the way they are (and it looks likely that they will) we'll be equal if not better. Admittedly though, us signing 2 quality players without selling Suarez is a big if.

Lots of Ifs though mate and even with two signings it's still a big task to get into the CL spots. And not sure why people constantly write off Arsenal - everytime they are written off they then qualify for CL once again

I can safely write them off winning any trophy next season if their squad stays the same. They might win the 4th place trophy though, that's been in their cabinet a few times lately

Well I'm not sure what winning trophies actually counts for these days unless it's the big two.

That 4th place trophy was deemed more important by the owners 12 months ago.

It is an important place to get in prem currently - it opens a lot of doors

Well, Suarez is already lost to the club, if not this summer then the next. Can't see him staying any longer.
I'll be seething though if the club is forced to let him go for 40 million at the end of the month after ***** gets into the CL.

yep. Would be an awful blow if they could get him then if such a clause exists.
I just hope the club wasn't that stupid last summer.

Ah, ok. Don't worry, they wont get through the qualifying rounds. Trust me, they will be knocked, roughed up and kicked out.

Additionally, I heard a rumour that LS has pulled out of a tomorrow's friendly. As yet, this is not confirmed, however, does anyone else know or heard anything about this?

We say that every year with Arsenal and they always qualify and always get through the group stage and then they qualify again for the next year.

Certainly will be interesting to see who they get drawn against - but they will be one of the top seeds so it will be a qualifier.
