Tiago Ilori has agreed personal terms ,but Liverpool still quibbling over the extra million Lisbon want .....5 million and he's ours by all accounts.

Yep excellent player ,part from his skills ,what impressed me was his approach to the game ,Fearless and lot's of confidence.

I really hope we sign Henrik - that would be an outstanding deal for us

As always, I'm a bit concerned about the rumored transfer fee , but he would be a great signing nonetheless.

Why are you concerned about the fee ? He is a quality player - to get the quality players we will need to pay the fees.

The noise is we are not going to go through with the Pappadolous deal because we won't pay the £17-19mil required ! Going to miss out on a quality player because we won't pay what is needed.

I’m sure the fact he hasn’t played any football since the end of 2012 because of an operation on his knee in December to deal with what Schalke described as a “persistent injury” has something to do with it. £15-20 million is a lot of money and I’m sure we have other options.

I don't want to be misunderstood, I think Mkhtaryan is a terrific player. But 22m isn't little money Benny. Players like Podolski, Cazorla, Mata etc. were bought for less than the rumored 22m we're going to pay Shakhtar. These players were more proven and arrived from leagues that are a lot stronger than the Ukrainian league. Also, it's a bit odd that we're the only ones interested in the Armenian. I doubt it's because of his talent because he clearly has it, so I think it might be because big price tag. I think that the most reasonable price for him would be around 15m, so I hope we'll be able to persuade Shakhtar to lower the fee they're asking for at least 5m.

Just in case, I'll say it again; I wouldn't mind him even if we payed the 22m.

Any move for the Belgium international makes Pepe Reina's exit appear increasingly likely.

Mignolet deal hopefully done soon. Reina must be off then hopefully we can make some profit.

Mkhitaryan also looks close. Business looks to be done early. But with no out goings yet I'd hope to see atleast one more top signing
