its a bit daft that he is having a medical. he spent last year on loan with them and surely had one then, not only that he has been injured a few times so im sure they had all the relevant scans done at the time.

I think we can get Henrik M, but we can't get Higuain.  Higuain may end up going for a bit more than that.  And when you look at the two players, HM could actually end up being "better."  He's way more mobile than Higuain and has a much better shot.  25 goals from an attacking midfielder is a hell of a lot more than Higuain, although scored in the Ukraine league is a different story, and unless Higuain ends up int he prem we won't really know how the two compare since the EPL is a harder league to score in than Spain in theory.

Different type of players and different situation

Madrid want to offload Higuain so he will be a bit cheaper than a player a club don't really want to sell.

i think higuain is over rated, much rather have mkhitaryan.
wouldnt it be great if we bought mkhitaryan and papadopolous and suarez`s move fell through and he ended up staying!
couldnt see us spending £23m on a player though unless we were absolutely sure that suarez was off.

£15m for Carroll and a few quid for Skrtel plus the £20m promised by FSG should help

I don't think we will get Pappa now

I think the owners will have money available for one off purchases but with Suarez prob on his way out the fees will be covered.

As for Higuain - so far his record speaks for itself - I reckon he will be high on the goalscoring charts if he arrived in the prem

why spend £20m+ on someone who will unbalance our forward line?
