I do have to question why when he is going relatively cheap the top clubs are avoiding him at the moment ?

It was said that his season wasnt the greatest and players like Fischer arrived more into the limelight at Ajax ?

i think nobody fight with us over suarez when we signed him from ajax

I believe Spurs put in a bid equal to ours, or even more.  Redknapp is claiming to at least, although he claims to have never put in a bid for Carroll when everybody knows he did.

In my humble opinion Suarez, Carroll & Skrtel will definitely be sold with 'possibly' Reina as well.

I think we are serious about Erikkson and will make a move soon and I also think we will go back in for Tom Ince. After that I am not sure who we are after; which I don't mind as leave it for the papers to talk about and us to do our business on the QT.  Selling all of the aforementioned will raise some serious £££ but the money needs to be spent wisely as selling them leaves some large gaps in our squad/team!!

Tom Ince is history - anyway, this should be in the Rumours thread not this one.

Spurs were rumoured to be interested but no bid was made by them

They didnt but this time last summer all the big clubs were looking at Eriksen with bids of £30mil etc - now he is cheaper the interest has died a little

Reina's  recently distanced himself from moving to Barca, he must have heard Valdes wants to see out his contract.   

If it was up to me I'd have a new goalie brought to the club anyway, make him step his game up

I am starting to get sick about reading the news that Liverpool being likely to lose LS. Players coming and going in every transfer window is normal. I may be stating the bleeding obvious here but if he really wants to go, just submit his transfer request as soon as he gets back from S.America, we sell him for at least 50M and use it to buy a suitable replacement a.s.a.p. and no more repeating of last season's transfer debacle. The Armenian H.Mkhirtaryan looks like a suitable replacement and do all our business early. It will be a great loss to see such a world class player leaves but no point in keeping him if he wants to go. We don't want another sulking piece of sh#t in the team. So if he wants out, I hope we can get it all done within the first week when the window opens and find his replacement/s as early as possible.

Doesn't mean he's a less of a player now. The kid has a huge potential mate. The only reason I don't want him is because I think we don't need an AM, but if we're going for one then Eriksen is definitely my first choice.

Either that or play second fiddle until Valdes parts company with Barce.

There is nothing more gratifying than seeing a player truly want his jersey, in this case I think Pepe, now falls well short of this - which, in my view means he isn't worthy of it.

Totally agree. His actions are also having an affect on how much we could sell him for. Luis has been castigated by the press and he has my sympathy. Luis however cannot claim to be free of all blame for the sh.it that both he and his family have had to endure and that is where my sympathy ends. I personally believe that over a £100k a week is reasonable compensation for having to endure the results of some partly self created cra.p. Suarez owes us at least another season for the support that the club and the fans have showed him. I know loyalty has disappeared down the sh.itter but Luis's behaviour has at times caused considerable embarrassment to the club and he should consider ways of repaying the loyalty the club has shown to him instead of simply pi.ssing off !!

Funny how the majority of LFC fans were of the opinion that Suarez has been hounded and labelled all sorts in the press during his time here, yet when he comes out and says the same, half that majority turn on him for it.
