To anyone who is peddling the line that he wants to leave because he wants to win things
Utter Fu*king bullsh'it. I have just seen the interview and not once did he mention it. He spoke about being followed by the press, being bullied by the media and not being supported by the club (as far as the translation went)
So fu'ck off with your " he wants to be at a winning/bigger/better club"
Cheers

just read that, without Suarez's goals this season, we'd have finished in 7th place in the legaue....no change, which is remarkable when you think about it

SSN just showed Suarez's latest press conference, no fu.cking doubt he wants away.

Just watch how Madrid play this now.  Suarez has made it such public knowledge he wants away that Madrid will be rubbing their hands.  They'll delay and delay putting in an actual bid until near the end of the window.  That way we'll get more and more anxious to get rid so we can strengthen the squad with the money, then they'll stick in a derisory offer much lower than 40 mil.  They are dirty fu.ckers when it comes to this.

We need to set a deadline for a deal to be done, after which we tell him to dry his eyes and knuckle down, he's under contract after all and we can play hardball like City did with Tevez.  We have to show we will not be rolled over.

I actually hope we get some serious interest in him from PSG or Monaco now so that it turns into a bidding war and forces Madrid's hand early.  The very least Suarez can afford us after sticking by him through the racism, diving and biting controversies, is not digging his heels in over who he wants to go to so that we get a decent deal out of it.  He is maintaining he has no definite destination, just wants out of England, so lets put that to the test.

If he's such a staunch red, so die hard and devoted, being forced into a move away, then why the f'uck would he a) be so concerned about what the press have to say and b) sit down at a press conference and inform everyone of his desire to leave the club when clearly this has the potential to undermine our bargaining position?

Great player and we're lucky to have seen him play in a red shirt but he ain't a f'ucking s@int in my eyes.

As a club that's bounced back from similar situations in the past we need to look upon this as an opportunity. A chance to make a mint on a player at his peak and to use that money to strengthen the squad as a whole. It won't be easy trying to sign the calibre of player we need without being able to offer CL footy but we know it can be done. Your average 6th-8th place side can't sign the likes of Suarez and Coutinho but we were able to because of our stature in world football, and we can still trade on that and the expectations we have as a club. But we have to show we can live up to those expectations by showing ambition in the transfer market. Not reckless ambition, but not signing a couple of 3-7m pound players and expecting that'll do the trick, either.

Suarez went on strike at Groningen to push through his move to Ajax, so watch this space.

He also ran away from Holland after he got banned for biting a player.  Oh how history repeats itself.

He also stated that the media never bothered him and that he ignores them - now he states they make his life hell ? How can they when he says they ignore him.

I remember Torres with similar statements before he left.

Suarez is no different.

We would have been 10 points less with 4 defeats more.

That's not counting the goals he set up.

If there is a clause one team will meet it. I'm sure the agent has let teams know. If clubs don't meet it then he stays

The clause is only to allow him to speak to clubs which is 40m. If Madrid offer 40M then we can say go on Luis you can speak to them but we arent excepting less than 50

I don't think that's the way it works mate.  A release clause is a release clause, ie. if a club offers it then he can sign for them if he can agree personal terms and there's nothing we can do about it.

As for whether Suarez actually has a release clause - it's all speculation.
