And the clubs mentality of accepting the mediocrity in terms of signings and manager appointment is filtering down to the fans

5 years ago if the manager at the time signed the likes of Apas or Borini there would be an uproar - we demanded quality to be signed by the club.
how hard is it to understand that we aren't the same team of 5 years ago.

The depletion of the squad throughout the H&G era, and subsequent drop out from the CL, crippled us. You don't recover quickly from that quickly, easily or cheaply.

So those realistic supporters expectations have to drop if only to avoid disappointment and depression, as you have perfectly shown. Get over the fall from grace and enjoy the recovery. :)

Again where are you getting this information from. It appears to contradict others.

So far your success rate isn't great

Wasnt it yesterday you declared Suarez was staying

Then we had the declaration that Ince would be joining

People connected to the club are saying he has a release clause.

I think it's fair that a more likely scenario than yours

Suarez leaving because of clowns like me ?!

Try and please justify that statement

Once again you single me out and ignore the ***** from others.

Why is every Suarez episode littered with BTN bile? Nineteen pages and he probably accounts for half of them with his pathetic infantile nonsense.

It's not a case of who's the better fan. He fails miserably to come across as any kind of a fan.

I desperately try and ignore BTN but the fact remains that Suarez will probably leave because of clowns like him.

I suggest everybody else does the same. Ignore the fkr.

Bunglemark I couldn't agree more with your sentiments.

Yet you always ensure you have your say and just single one person out.

You fail to see you're part of the hounding problem.

Your post offers nothing to the thread and is just another attack against me - just like Bam , just like Thommo.

Just because I have a different opinion people like you three feel its your right every time I post it to attack me over that opinion

So what if I'm negative and am down about the club - that doesn't give you or the others the right to attack me on a forum

Do you want to know why there is loads of ***** - because of people like you and Bam who do not allow others to have an opinion that is different than yours. You have to ensure you constantly hound them in every thread to score points to ensure threads get ruined.

It's because of people like you and Bam and Thommos perm that other people post elsewhere and why the mods just let it happen.

Maybe instead of constantly attacking me try looking in a mirror.

Unless you can single out a post that I have made on here that is that shocking I deserve to be attacked - you will struggle.

I haven't posted anything for a few years, but every now and then I like come by and look through discussion topics. I saw the whole Luis Suarez conference (in spanish) and feel things are being taken out of context. I don't have time to make a full translated transcript, but he opens saying anything he says is blown out of proportion and that he loves Liverpool (club and city and fans). There is no contact from Madrid, however if an offer came by it would be hard to say no, since it's normal to consider an offer from such a big club. He has a contract with Liverpool and anything said right now is speculation. He goes on to say he does not know if he'll stay or leave but if he stays he'll be "loco de la vida" (extremely happy, overjoyed) but it will be hard from all the harrasment he gets.

He goes on to say all the media went against him, making fun of him everywhere and that none said good things about him or tried to defend him. He then says that he said in the official LFC site he knew he would never win any awards in England because of how the media portrays him and that Gerrard deffended him, saying media are unfair with him.

Finally, what has been mistranslated and I see some people angry about:

my traslation (have not done this in a while, so my english could be a bit rusty)
"If it was about money I would have already left to another country, which has already been said before, but im putting my family and my image first and I think that is the most important thing for me. Its that I have been through some very hard times from which I would like to get out of, and I'm not just saying this because im here (Uruguay), but the coach and some of my team mates know that I've suffered, been through hard times, been mistreated and I was not pleased so they understand perfectly and and it would be perfectly understandable if some day I left Liverpool."

In the context, he never says that he has been mistreated by his team mates, coach or fans but that they understand what he has been through. He has nothing but good things to say about Liverpool and the fans. Yes, he does mention Madrid but I dont think he will push a move that will hurt the club (like Owen did), he owes Liverpool too much. Hopefully we can keep him for one more season, I'd say its pretty much 50/50 at this point though.

Utter Fu*king bullsh'it. I have just seen the interview and not once did he mention it. He spoke about being followed by the press, being bullied by the media and not being supported by the club (as far as the translation went)
So fu'ck off with your " he wants to be at a winning/bigger/better club"
Cheers
:D

He also stated that the media never bothered him and that he ignores them - now he states they make his life hell ? How can they when he says they ignore him.

I remember Torres with similar statements before he left.

Suarez is no different.

It would be far, far easier for him to come right out and say that it was because of CL football rather than go this way about it
Think about it, if you can?
