We wont lose Suarez this year.

We may have finished 12 points below Arsenal but we wasnt 12 points worse off in terms of quality.

It was also BRs first year with us. We will have Danny and Coutinho from the start of the season.

looks like luis has released a statement (or had an interview) expanding on what he said to the media earlier, he says he hasnt had any contact with madrid but he doesnt want to stay at liverpool, he loves the club but the press have made it impossible for him to stay, he says he will go mad if he stays. he says he has told LFC that he doesnt want to play for us anymore.
looks like the press had more of an effect on him that we thought, i cant see him playing for us again if he feels that strongly.

`i have feelings and i would like to play in another league`
`in england i was never going to win any prizes because of how they treated me`

No one can really blame him on the evidence we have seen thus far mate .Luis has been pilloried in the press since the Evra incident.
I for one wont hold any grudges if he off's his pop for pastures new ,I just wish it wasn't Madrid as I loathe their arrogance when it
comes to procuring players .

Who has told you we won't lose Suarez ? Same person who told you Ince was joining

What's the best judge of players or teams quality ? The results they get. Arsenal last summer lost their best player by a country mile yet still managed to get CL footy. The table very rarely lies. We are a fair distance behind that top 5 clubs in the prem. The facts over the last 4 seasons show that.

Suarez also never helped himself at times and the club and managers have stood by him twice. Lots of noise from him - I would prefer him to just stop dancing round the issue and just say the lure of top level football is what is making him move.

Not long ago he said he didn't care what the media said and took no notice of what they say.

Not the end of the world if he moves on......Torres was also a great loss.
If we can get a healthy fee for him i would be happy because i also worry that he could never eclipse his form of last season.

it isnt the end of the world but i`m not convinced this` cabal` we currently have in charge of transfers can replace him.
wouldnt surprise me if we made a nett profit this summer, if reina and carroll go as well we`ll have a decent war chest but i cant see us making any costly marquee type signings. i think we will be concentrating on signing potential.

To hell with Suarez. He was making noises back last summer as well - I never expected any loyalty from him and I won't be saddened one bit if he left. Mind you, I felt a lot of grief when Alonso and even Torres left. FWIW, Torres never publicly bandied himself about asking for a transfer and while he wore a Liverpool shirt, he always appreciated the fans of Liverpool.

This guy, after all the mudslinging he's brought on the club with his indefensible actions can leave as far as I'm concerned. We can always find a replacement, we will have to.

I pretty sure that should be clear enough for you.

For us to have the slightest chance of CL in the coming years - we need to keep players of the ability of Suarez.

That clear enough for you ?

So
You admit there is a chance of us qualifying for the CL next season, which means were not a million miles away
Yes thats clear (like it was many posts ago you beaut)

So you dont mean that with Suarez we have a chance for a CL spot?
Not forgetting, as I have pointed out to you numerous times, that were not a million miles away from 4th, only 12 points?

I eagerly awaith your bullsh'it, I mean, reply...
:D

the teams that finished above us arent going to be standing still you know mate, that 12 points may as well be 120 points if we start trying to catch them on the cheap whilst they shop at harrods.

I understand your concern and fear that Suarez may go and the consequences if he does. But really, you are being so pessimistic.
Lighten up mate and be positive. We wont implode or explode if he goes, so try not to be so negative.
Think good thoughts and good things will happen

Just a thought here.  Why would signing Suarez make sense for Madrid?  Obviously Luis is a world class talent.  However they have soooo many players that love to have the ball at their feet and creating opportunities.  IMO Suarez is not what they need.  Would actually be a waste of money for them.

That side is really lacking cohesion.  FFS Mourinho couldn't even get them to defend properly.  They have plenty of players who can create and get goals.  Oh and BTW they don't have a manager do they?

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.
