I can only pray that we pull this off.  Times like this I wish Comolli were still here, because he'd get it done for sure.

If we bring back Owen I will turn my back on LFC. That will be the last straw

Glad to see we have such fantastic fans...

Any real Liverpool fan would never even think, or say something like that.  I don't care if we end up in league 2, club falling apart with loads of Sh*t arrogant players, I'll still always idolize the club.  The stress of the bad times is part of being a true fan, and if you can't deal with it then we don't need you around.

Liverpool do not intend to sign former player Michael Owen despite the current dearth of strikers at the club, and the 32-year-old is instead expected to sign a two-year, £1.5m-per-season contract with Stoke.

The club comes first all the time... we NEED a striker.  Id take any of the names being mentioned as any one of them would improve our squad.

Lucas Barrios, former Dortmund player. He's unhappy in China and might have his contract terminated so maybe something if it's not too late, we could still get him?

I think the squad sheet had to be in last night so I guess unless a deal has been tied up and the new player is on the list already submitted, we won't be adding to the ranks.

Free agents can be added if you have less than the 25 full slots of first team players over a certain age registered. We dont even have 20

Heskey, oh please god no, I'd honestly rather we played the youngsters. I think we either need a top class striker or nothing at all but in January it will cost a hell of a lot more than an extra £2 million, stupid fecking owners!!
