One of the biggest reasons KK got the sack.

Downing has let down KK big time. Hope whoever comes in gets rid of downing.

the team has been under peforming for 3 years now under 3 different managers, those players have been here 1 year.

Downing picked ahead of Sturridge & Adam Johnson...stunning.

Is this Downing's first assist of the season?

Kenny persisted in using Downing and Henderson when they were playing sh.ite awful football and providing no service for Suarez or Carroll. Enrique went right off but Kenny still started him in every game when he was fit. Adam prior to his injury was awful but still he constantly got the nod. Maxi was ignored. Raheem Sterling should have been given more opportunities. Kuyt's confidence should not have been destroyed by constantly starting him on the bench. Kenny made mistakes and has paid the price for being stubborn and overly cautious.

As LFC fans would you actually pick Downing for England? I'm not sure.

I'm putting a tenner on Downing retaining his 'undefeated' tag throughout the Euros.
