I don't think he behaves like a "Dik" I think he is one. As Babu said he's even admitted trolling, he says the people who bite make it worse - he's blaming everyone for his behaviour.

The whinging and crying should change the fact he's a horrible little troll but he's just admitted he won't change - he craves negative attention.

He's ruined this forum. Nobody likes him and he should have fecked off like he said he would.

The forum has been a lot more busier and better over the last week or so and it's not coincidence that you have posted less whinging posts about me. Please continue along that way.

totally disagree with this, this place is a morgue. No laughter, no fun, no solid football discussions. Just your garbage drowning everyone.

I know you know what you are doing, as you have already confessed to being a troll (WUM). I just don't know why.

And the whinging crying posts about me change that how ?

They don't change anything - in fact all they do is make things worse. Any post I make that you don't like or think on a wind up or trolling - report it to the mods and let them deal with it instead of bleating about it on the threads. That does nothing to add to any debate.

Why do you find it so incredibly difficult to accept that you are single handedly fkg up this forum? Just how many posters have to tell you that you are being a clown? You do not create debate as you suggest, you simply make childish comments and are objectionably argumentative. I do my utmost to ignore you but you make it extremely difficult with your pathetic behaviour. Please try and pay attention to all of the criticism that you have received over the last couple of weeks and start behaving like a 42-year-old rather than a two year old!

If certain posters don't like what I post then report the offending posts to the moderators and let them deal with the posts instead of constantly posting abusive posts and constantly complaining about me on the forum and in every thread possible.

Good luck to Downing, tried hard but didn't make it.

Surely our midfield is a bit light now?

Yeah, given the difficulties we seem to be having closing out deals I'm surprised we moved him on, especially as he was the incumbent on the RW.

Did he really try hard? I thought he was woeful until he got a kick up the proverbial from BR in December. His improvement was also helped by the arrival of PC and Danny.

If Willian arrives because Downings wages left then its the right move.

And I wonder how things would have turned out if he hasn't smashed the bar in the first game after that wonderful run. 6 efforts from Downing hit the woodwork in his first 6 months and another 5 efforts from other players that he set up. Downing suffered more than anyone else from hitting the woodwork that season

Was a tough season that. Arguably Kenny might have made a 2nd season due to us being closer to the top of the league if those woodwork shots had gone in. I don't remember myself a season when we were that unlucky.

Some stat guru I read via twitter last summer had counted all the times we had hit the woodwork and also looked at all our missed chances and said that if the players had taken 10-20% more chances and scored instead of hitting the woodwork we would have got 20 more points in the league - there was certainly a lot of guess work in the theory but it wouldn't be far from the truth. We were creating 20plus shots on goal every single match but just could get it in the net. The game is full of very thin margins and luck - we just could get a break that year.

A couple more of the chances going in and less woodwork could have done wonders for Downing

ifs... buts... and monkey nuts.

fact remains we scored what we scored, we conceded what we conceded and we ended up with the points we ended up with.

I've said it so many times: Downings stats were rubbish because he just didn't do the good stuff that he is capable of often enough. This might sound harsh but hitting the woodwork is actually a miss and counts for absolutely nothing. I wouldn't mind if Downings stats had been balanced as a result of the woodwork but they weren't. His stats for a very long time read no assists and no goals in the league and I'm afraid that was not simply down to bad luck. If he really was any use whatsoever he would not have been sold to West Ham for not much more than a miserable £5m. Downing played regularly under Kenny and certainly made a massive contribution towards Kenny being sacked. Kenny was sacked because of the teams performance in the league and Downing was one of the key reasons why we were so poor.

He turned out better than what I expected but he was never good enough to take the club to the next level.
I hope he does well at West Ham..

Well said...
KK didn't help himself either though - can't attribute part of the reason for his sacking to Downing

Liverpool reject Stewart Downing baffled by how quickly Brendan Rodgers sold him to West Ham
Kop out: Downing is now a Hammer - and aiming for the England squad
Twitter

Stewart Downing has slammed Brendan Rodgers for going back on his word to keep him at Liverpool.

And the new West Ham winger is adamant that money played no part in his decision to leave Anfield.

Mirror Sport understands that Downing has actually taken a pay-cut to join the Hammers and was desperate to get regular first-team football after signing a four-year deal.

Downing was baffled to hear comments from his former manager on Thursday that he had been offered ‘an incredible deal at West Ham and has taken that decision to go’.

The 29-year-old clearly has a different take to the story and after, he claims, being told that he was a key part of Rodgers’ plans this season, he feels the Liverpool boss had a change of heart over his future and was happy for him to leave.

Downing featured heavily for the Anfield giants during the pre-season campaign and was preparing for their opening game against Stoke on Saturday.

But when West Ham made their interest known, Liverpool quickly accepted their £6million offer and Downing knew Rodgers had no plans to play him.

“I spoke to the manager and he said he wanted me to stay. So I’m disappointed that one minute I was staying and the next minute I’m gone," said Downing.

“It was a surprise because it happened so quick. One minute I was in the starting XI for Liverpool, and the next I was on my way to London.

“I was playing in the team and playing regularly and that’s why I was surprised to be told that a fee had been accepted. It is normally when you are not playing, or you are not in the squad is why you leave.”

When asked if he was surprised to hear Rodgers' comments that he had been offered an 'incredible' deal at West Ham and wanted to leave because of it, he replied: “I don’t know about that.

“Obviously, I’ve got a four-year contract but having the opportunity to play was the big thing. At my age, I need to play. And in a World Cup year, I need to be in with a chance.

“Maybe for the club it was an unbelievable offer, I don’t know.”

With England facing crucial World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine next month, Downing knows he has the ideal chance to force his way back into the senior squad if he manages to find his best form again at Upton Park.

England manager Roy Hodgson has showed he is ready to recall players who are hitting top form, and Downing feels he has the perfect opportunity to do that playing alongside the likes of Andy Carroll, once the striker is fit, and Matt Jarvis.

He added: “I always watch the England games. I think most players would think they can bring their qualities to the team.

“I went to the Euros and didn’t play and I haven’t been picked since, which is a bit strange. That’s why I think I’m moving at a good time with a year leading up to the World Cup I have a chance to play. It is up to me now.

“I didn’t play with Andy as much as we would have liked (at Liverpool) but I am looking forward to it. His strengths suit me, crossing and having someone in the box who will head it. I know he is a favourite here so hopefully he can carry on his form.

“He asked me if I was coming. I am glad he is here. He is probably happy I am here. He is a friend. If you are friends off the pitch you generally do well on it.”
