FSG need to get a new stadium in the pipe line, this is something which should have happened years ago in fairness and it has no doubt stifled our ability to compete financially with other clubs.

I think the plan that we're going with is one that was made in 2003....!  9 years ago

This kind of fks up my theory that Liverpool were forced to get rid of the Torres money quickly to avoid a substantial tax bill given that once again they have made a massive loss.I naively thought that all the H & G new stadium design expenditure was all part of the massive debts that were cleared with the sale to FSG. Appears that I gave them far more credit than they deserved.What a chronic mess they got themselves into.

The thing is that when H + G came, they were supposed to put money where there wasn't money. They came, and the crowd expected players and rap stars, and stadiums.

They only brought more debt.

50M losses in a year, are the total debt of some primera division clubs, so it's difficult to me to see a good shape in the accounts looking at those figures, but I admit my knowledge in business is next to zero.  :blues:
