Fantastic player when fit though.
Pretty much sums it up for me. I can't imagine there's a lot of genuine enthusiasm on the part of both the player and the manager for a Liverpool return and without that, it'll never work.
Maybe KKs charm and wit might work where Roys didnt?

Milan put off by Aquilani price
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed the club will not be taking up the option to sign Alberto Aquilani but could do so at a later date.
The 27-year-old has just completed a season-long loan from Liverpool with the Serie A outfit, who have the option of making the switch permanent.
The two sides had agreed a fee of 8million euros (£6.4m) but Milan now want to renegotiate the terms of the deal in the hope of getting a better price.
June
"We will not use our option to buy Aquilani before May 31. We will re-open talks with Liverpool in June, though," said Galliani.
However, in the case of Maxi Lopez, Galliani has made it clear they will not be signing him on a permanent deal after his six-month loan from Catania expired.
He added: "We are satisfied with what he has done, but we will not sign him. Maxi will return to Catania."
