I must be one of the few people left who wouldn't mind Alberto back in a reds shirt and playing football under Rodgers ...I think the lad  has few peers in Italy
albeit from the majestic Pirlo when it comes to passing a ball with real elegance .

That said he will probably be farmed around Italy ,because whatever ails the fella it certainly isn't his football ability .

in tonights echo it says that he is coming back this week for pre season training and is open to the idea of staying.
really hope he stays, he`s a quality player who will suit the new playing philosophy that rodgers is trying instill in the club.

Considering we can only get a couple million pounds for him I've got no interest in selling him.  Let him come back here and if he has a good season, he either gets sold for more than he would have, or we maybe hold onto a decent player.
