And yer know, at school, if only he'd used the paint by numbers technique.

He wouldn't have to get wet or muddy playing football.

i agree on le tallec a 100%.
maybe when i said his ego you thought of the above.

im not writing hendo off by any means and do think that he could be an integral part of the team in time but not atm.
id like to see him benched for a period and have to sit and watch someone else playing to see what he is missing.shelvey is the one id play instead of him as he was fantastic at b-pool and the competition between them would be good for the team.
shelvey is another one that was touted as a fantastic prospect but for half the price.
our problem lies at rw and the fact that we dont have one so we shuffle and the team suffers as well as the individual thats played there.
pit the players against each other is the way to get the best from them and is good for moral but constantly overlooking bad performances isnt.

felt sorry for him today, especially given the formation we played.

he is never a wide player in a 4-4-2.

Thus far, he has been a disappointment. It would have been nice to see some sort of improvement by now.

Didn't deserve to be on the team sheet today - his game against Cardiff showed that.

Agree. Didn't deserve to start.

Kenny was probably thinking we needed a third central midfielder so we dont get outnumbered.. and so played Henderson on the right (allowing him to come inside and help out Gerrard and Adam). Hes done some decent things previously but the more i see of him he looks a like midtable player (as does Adam tbh).

Midfield is definitely an area we must strengthen in the summer with genuine class.

I don't think Kenny is doing him (or the side) any favours by playing him out wide. He looks short of confidence there, and let's face it, he is not a winger.

I'm sure he is a great lad, but he shouldn't be anywhere near the starting eleven, ease him in.

I have said before that he looks like a kid who is oblivious to the game going on around him. Yesterday confirmed that point and if KK wants to keep a blatant passenger in the team then every match will be as hard as that was because we are virtually playing with ten men while he is on the pitch.

Can't agree more and already commented on here that he is never a wide player.

He is an advanced CM but cannot get in that position with Gerrard fit and able to play his preferred role.

worst player on the pitch again yesterday but can seem to do no wrong in kennys eyes and its getting really boring now.
other than a few passes here and there this lad is showing nothing to warrant his place.he is years off if he ever turns out to be decent that is.another overpriced over rated english midfielder imo.

i dont.
he is a lost little sheep wandering around pining for beau.
for a lad that age to go for the money he did he has to be adaptable to other positions, granted he isnt a r-winger but he should still be able to play and do half a job there.
he shouldnt have been on the pitch yesterday in the first place.

The dillema for KK is whether to drop him and hope he realises how sh'it hes been playing, or continue picking him and hope he realises how sh'it hes been playing.
Which one though...?
