Cleaer the air talks have taken place and I would say that the media and ther PC brigade will continue to drag this. Credit to the Manc Hierarchy (not amnager who is a shi't stirrer) for responding swiftly to the apologies, this goes someway to appeasing the situatuion.

The rest can do one.. we must support the player and manager, we can't afford to loose either .. CAN WE !

wouldn't be suprised to see Suarez on his way in the summer after this. I know he lied to the club but he obviously still feels alot of anger towards evra and has now been ordered to apologise so probably feels victimised. May be even KK could leave. I actually think the owners are partially to blame and should have advised KK and suarez on what they wanted them to say when it happened  because there was always a chance in the end(bearing in mind the sponsors) they would want suarez to apologise. If it had been done at the time through gritted teeth this whole thing wouldn't have got this big and suarez may not even have had 8 matches. One thing is for sure i hate MU and AF more than ever now after how this has been generated by them from a simple comment all be it racial (provoked by that :censored: evra) into something that turned out worse than what happened with Ron Atkinson. The owners may be relieved to have brought an end to this issue but how happy will they be in splashing out to replace him in the summer?

This all on the back of John Henrys last visit where it is reported a bollocking was delivered to management over the general running of the club and our handling of the Suarez affair.

I really dont think many people have grasped the seriousness of this situation and in particular during a period where we have just signed up new sponsors and are looking for further investment to assist with the stadium issue and improve the team.

We can back Suarez until the cows come home but I dont think anyone will be singing his name quite so loudly when sponsorship contracts start being ripped up and we have to sell players to make ends meet.

Seriousness of what situation mate?
???

I guess he is referring to the fact that we have come out of this looking like a thoroughly incompetent racist organisation that can see no wrong in Suarez's behaviour. That is the reality whether we like it or not. Just take a look on NewsNow, the Suarez Evra debacle is worldwide news and we look like the non caring offenders.

We bravely decided to defend the indefensible and Kenny and Suarez both have my admiration for that. Luis admitted to using some language that isn't acceptable in a country where beating up your Granny is almost regarded as a lesser offence than racial abuse. Ever since Suarez naively admitted to inadvertently abusing Evra we were on a hiding to nothing. Even if he had been found not guilty of racial abuse he would still have had a major problem with the media and opposing fans. If by some strange reason Terry is found innocent how do you think the Kop will respond?

I'm afraid that whilst there were no witnesses Suarez said enough to put the nails in his own coffin. His defence was never taken seriously. If he has a head on crash for driving on the wrong side of the road in this country will he use the excuse that we drive on the right in Uruguay?  I just hope he has learned from his extremely costly mistake. The club also need to ensure that all players are aware of what they can and cannot say on the pitch.

Its only as important as people make it.
The apology has been given and it will be forotten soon. KK has to learn from this and not invite the sh'itstorm with his comments. We are right but you cannot fight the cumguzzling media with the truth. Play the game. Thats what we must learn for the future.

No, why should he?

His crime for me was telling Kenny he was going to shake the other pr!cks hand and then didn't. In that he let Kenny down.

As far as Evra is concerned, I cannot put into words the contempt I have for that pr!ck. I sympathise with Suarez here, how can you shake the hand of a man who got you banned for 8 games, dragged your name through the mud, and has managed to drag your club down through unbelievable depths through the "racist" card that he played. And played at a club that has the FA in their pocket.

Suarez was wrong on one account, he let Kenny down, that is all.

my beef is that they should have been over here from the off , protecting there manager and player. Instead it's been a PR disaster and a dogs dinner that we have had to sit and endure. The mancs have won the media war whilst our owners (note the f.uckin owners) have sat back and done nowt . Not until standard chartered started opening there mouths and not until the new york times had written an artical claiming "the f.uckin brand "would suffer world wide. They should be leading theway and be pro active and not re active to others.

It will all die down quickly enough I think, at least until the next Liverpool vs mancs game. Oppo fans will get bored of booing Suarez soon enough and I think he will remember the support he received from the club as and when othe rclubs come sniffing.

i thought the f.a said that they are not taking any action over what happened the weekend.
the f.a themselves want this saga to go away, it`s actually damaging the premier league `brand` abroad we made that much of a pigs breakfast of the whole thing.

It's over, there's nothing more to it, the kunts in the media now have Tevez and Mancini to do over, hmmmm who will that help? ???? Then theres AVB's imminent sacking. Liverpool supporters should not feed off the cr@p in media, it really isn't such a big deal. Let's not take part in phone ins criticising the club and OUR players, it's pointless and only fuels the dying fire.

your right the F.A said they arent going to punish anyone but will have a word with both clubs over future conduct.
the reference i was making was to the P.F.A and im sure i heard ayre saying that the club will punish luis over this and will consult with the P.F.A on what would be suitable.

i have searched and i cant find anything on it and was wondering if anyone else had heard it?.
