Probably smart we didn't buy a striker in the window. Carroll's started to play pretty well the last 2 games, and if we went and bought a striker then all the confidence he's started to build up would be gone.

Suarez is back, Bellamy is on fire, and Carroll has started to play well. We shouldn't need a striker if these guys continue to perform.

Big Big If, I think we made a mistake not getting a striker in on loan at least, I really hope Carroll can start to perform and become an asset, it certainly seems like someone has given him a long overdue kick up the :censored:

and pointed out where the goal is.

I thought we would have got a forward player in for sure given our poor strike rate. You are buying another option and an insurance policy. Plus a new face usually freshens things up. I guess there was no value, and given what happended last January perhhaps they where a bit scared to go again this time.

one player that Kenny should buy is Patricio Rodriguez. it would be a major mistake not to buy him. the only 2 players who can match his abilities are Messi and Ronaldo. watch!

Mark Gonzalez looked great in You Tube highlights playing in a foreign league as well.

No doubt his stats are good on FM2012 though.

I think i've watched him before... looks skillful... but he doesn't seem like a prolific scorer... looks more like a playmaker...

looks very very good on youtube, bet he goes to Real, Barca or Manure, we never get those kind of players.

yeah unfortunately

heard some rumors saying he's Benfica bound.

@Maguskt, we do need a playmaker, he'll make it easier for Carroll to simply tap the ball into the net.
