From Hansen's unseen handball vs the Bitters in the 84 league cup final, to similar with Henchoz against Arsenal in 2001 fa cup final, to the near perfect penalty shoot out record (something like 12 wins in 14.. and the 2 we didn't win were in early rounds) which won us 2 European Cup finals, a League Cup final, and an FA Cup final, to the Garcia ghost goal (and Gudjohnsen missing an open goal in the 6th minute of injury time), to Alaves' Geli scoring a golden goal own goal in the 2001 uefa cup final, to Shevchenko shooting from 2 yards out in the 117th minute and somehow hitting Dudeks hand in the 2005 cl final, to Pepe tipping the 119th minute west ham shot onto the inside of the post (which harewood from the rebound proceeded to miss) in the 2006 fa cup final. Then theres the league games against the bitters.. dont mention Clive Thomas (denied a goal in the 78 fa cup semi), Mark Clatterburg (denied a last minute pen), Graham Poll (denied a last second goal which he apologised for).. nor the fella this season who sent off Rodwell which was overturned.
Tonight, getting a pen that wasn't, and Man City not getting a pen that was, good.
Top clubs get lucky, Man U are similar to us. The better i become the luckier i get.. or something. You make your own luck.

I'm absolutely adamant the foundations for success are in place and this cup will go a long way for us, to give us a taste and some confidence we can compete. To an extent it says a lot you say a lot of our misfortune has been down to luck
Forget the doom and gloom people, we're creating chance after chance and the football is great to watch at times, we're in good hands with Kenny. The only way is up

What an odd post. I have never met an apparant Liverpool supporter who sides with rival views of our club.
I contend that any successful team has a equal array of luck. List how much luck Man Utd have had over the years, between refereeing decisions, etc.
I honestly question your motives on here.

virus my backside. more likely whiskeynose doesn't want him as referee. this would have been the first time atkinson had reffed united in 11 months which is almost unheard of.
