LUCAS LEIVA - OFFICIAL THREAD

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby HOMER » Mon Sep 19, 2011 11:40 am

when are people going to start realising that lucas is not good enough for a starting place at liverpoolfc. he's playing in the most important role in the team and he offers nothing. cant tackle, cant hold onto the ball, cant create chances, has no pace.sums up last season when he got  player of the year! our central midfield need addressing, spurs have the better midfield players - thats why we lost and why we couldnt get the ball to carroll and suarez.     modric, bale and parker are much better players than what we have (gerrard aside).

Really? what did he exactly do to prevent double figures? Did you see how many chances Tottenham missed? it would have been 6-0 or 7 if it wasn't for the missed chances. Luca Modric and Parker absolutely destroyed us in midfield, Lucas was chasing shadows

It did appear at times that Parker , Modric,Bale outnumbered Lucas 3-1........I suppose it would help if a couple of the new signings would chip in now and again..... :D

He was playing against 3, not being sarcastic, Adam was busy tackling thin air, and Henderson must have stayed behind in the changing room because he was not on the pitch. Lucas plays his role well, he is disciplined.

It's not that crazy, if as you would like Carra was dropped, then he would  probably be the most viable option, given Stevie's still not back.
