Hes gonna come good sooner rather than later.. I think its actually better for him to be benched for a few games to somewhat get him out of the spotlight with all the scrutiny regarding his scoring record and all that... Hes never going to be one of those strikers who play well without scoring but once he starts banging them in he'll be (and Chelsea to for that matter) unstoppable..

Long may the drought continue.

really was an excellent finish. Chelsea would be stupid to drop the lad. He's had one opportunity and took it, surely he deserves a run in the side

Maybe, possibly, definately, the greatest bit of transfer business in the history of transfers. We got £50,000,000 for a donkey.

Whatever way you look at it, he will come good, he is a class player, he can change games.

The fact of the matter is, he netted us a fortune and has netted chelsea just one goal.

Awesome !

^ You're probably right, although I hope not. Would hate him to miss coming to Anfield in May!

Hmmm I'm kind of a superstitious person... could it be possible that our very own Andy is playing like :censored: because we're on here laughing at Judas?

Mayhaps we should close this thread so Andy starts scoring...

We should have insisted on Sturridge when we sold Torres to them

I'm really starting to believe that this is how his time at Chelsea will unfold. Reports everywhere he's gonna be dropped for their CL game...

1405 FOOTBALL: Fernando Torres is being quizzed by Chelsea over an interview for the official website of Spain's Primera Liga in which he criticises his own team-mates. Torres, who has endured a miserable run in front of goal since his £50m move from Liverpool, was quoted as branding Chelsea's "older" players as "very slow", and hailing new team-mate Juan Mata as a necessary signing.

Really winning over the crowd eh? :D

Wasted a host of chances in the first half last night.  But actually was a bit scary in the second half and had a pair of assists.  If he does that in a league game, defenders may start playing off him a bit, being aware of his passing, which in turn can lead to more space to take shots.

He actually looked happy and confident in the final 20 minutes or so.  Hopefully it's just a rare thing.  I hope it's not a sign of him regaining his form.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

The fact that he is getting squeezed out of the Spain squad too is the icing on the cake.
