It's unbelievable - it looks like we are maybe signing a very good player and everyone seems very happy with it yet some posters still feel the need to bring previous manager into it and have digs at posters . Unreal

I admit Mascherano was a good player, but arent people going overboard with how fantastic he was?

He was not here to score goals...he was not even here to create goals.
The guy is a beast at torturing other teams when they try and get the ball through MF...simple,he's the best in the world at breaking up your oppositions play...no one better!

With a player like him,you dont look at how many he scored,you think about how many he prevented.

Big loss....he's still a kunt though and so is his wife! :nod

He's probably one that would have advocated for Aquilani - Gerrard midfield quartet.

Just seen that myself. Excellent move for us. Regarding Mascherano though, make no mistake, he was a fantastic player for us. Even his last game for us he was vital. We will miss him, and I hope at the end of his career he will regret not having the balls to tell his missus to feck off !

Anyway, we move on, and we have replaced mascherano with a good player fairly sharpish.

On the Lucas front, I do hope the rumours of him leaving are true. He has worked his socks off for the club, and taken a lot of stick, but he just isnt good for morale. His passing at times is awful, and his tackling is just as bad. Time to leave I think.

Liverpool have completed the signing of Portuguese midfielder Raul Meireles on a four-year contract.

The Reds have paid 14 million euros for the services of the 27-year-old midfielder, who has won four titles with Porto and been capped 38 times by Portugal, including in all four of his country's games in this summer's World Cup.
